[Song for the chapter: Treasure - Bruno Mars]
Tori's P.O.V
First Monday of the month September. I can officially state that I, Tori West, hate waking up in the morning.
I throw away the blanket covering me, and sit up on the bed. Walking up to the mirror I see something out of a horror movie staring back at me, as always.
I take a quick shower and put on a fresh pair of jeans with a random tee, tying a knot at the hem.
I put on a little makeup with a bit of mascara and a little lip gloss. I pull my hair up in a ponytail and walk out.
With zero intentions of eating breakfast, I say my goodbyes to Mom and Dad and lie to them about getting breakfast with friends.
"Sup bitchass?" Harp shouts, walking out of her house. I just laugh closing the door to my own house.
She motions me to come to her lawn, and I follow. I see her bike and Harp standing with an extra helmet.
I put on the helmet as she places herself smoothly over the bike and then I go and sit behind her.
"I have a new found love for the cheerleaders." Harp says.
"Why tho?" I ask, clearly confused.
"They asked some boys to volunteer to learn Cheerleading. Both Alex and Fred entered their names, along with Nathan, Tyler, Zayn and Ian." Harper informs me.
"This sounds fun," I laugh, "I can't wait to see them epic fails."
We just laugh as we imagine Alex doing splits or something, as Harp drives off.
"Apparently Mary's only working for three more days," Harp says sadly, "We're getting breakfast there."
I still had no appetite, but I guess I'll tolerate it for Mary.
After a few free snacks and drinks from Mary we arrive at school. If she wasn't retiring, she would've gotten fired for giving away this much stuff for free anyways.
Me and Harp walk to our lockers and start taking our books out, someone taps me on the shoulder.
I turn around, "No, no I've told yo-"
"Come on please. You've been ignoring me for days. I just want to talk. Just let me talk. Please." Ian looks at me hopefully.
"I- but....." I sigh, "Okay. Fine. But not now, at lunchtime maybe?"
"Okay." He looks relieved, and then slowly walks away.
"It's not that I'm mad at him, I don't even know why I'm ignoring him. I just - I don't know. I guess I thought if I stay away from him he would forget about me, you know? Well not forget about me but maybe his crush would go away? I mean I'm dating Zayn so there's no hope for him. But he just keeps coming back."
"This is the hundredth time you've told me this." Harper whines, "why don't you tell him this."
"Why don't you tell him this." I mimic her and roll my eyes.
"Either you tell him or I'll do it myself." She points a finger at me.
"Okay mom, I'll tell him."
Now it's her turn to roll her eyes. She grabs my arm and drags me away to class.
Classes pass by abnormally slow. Maybe it's because of my anticipation.
The bell rings, finally, it's lunchtime.
I enter the cafeteria and look around. He's already waiting.
