I'm Glad You Came- The Wanted]

Tori's P.O.V

"We've been planning this for months!" Harper screams loud enough to make the crows fly away.

"Correction," Ian speaks up, "You've been planning this for months. Only you. Not us."

"I swear I'm gonna put a bullet between your eyes any day, Russell."

Ian pouts and walks to Harper and wraps his arms around her, and hugs her tighter than any normal human being. They hate each other so much, that they love each other.

"Chill out Harp," I say, "Everything's gonna go as planned."

"And it's all thanks to you, M'lady." Ian kisses Harper's cheek only to end up on the ground as she slaps his right where the sun doesn't shine, making me laugh like a lunatic.

We're all at Harper's house, in our hangout room. Everyone's here apart from Alex and Nat. Today is Alex's 18th birthday and we're trying to surprise him with a party. We had dinner at Rob's last night as an "apology" that we couldn't throw him a party as Harper and my parents are back in town. Harper made her parents go on a romantic vacation so, she could have the party at hers. Nat decided to go on a date with Alex, so he doesn't suspect anything.

"Get to work, people!" Harper screams again and assigns each one of us to do something.

Nathan and Hayden took alcohol duty so they took Harper's Harley and took off. Tyler, Fred, and I got decoration duty. While Harp had to team up with Ian to bake the cake, as they're the only people who can bake. With occasional bossy orders from Harper, the decorations didn't take much time, and the decoration team was free to just hang out. That wasn't the case for the baking team, as Ian and Harper almost killed each other and then laughed at shit that no one really understood. Eventually, Hayden and Nathan came back with tons of alcoholic drinks, and the cake was almost done.

Everyone went back to their houses to get ready for the party at around 5 and came back at 7 when most of the people started to show up. Nat is supposed to bring Alex at 7:30.

"You two, behind that wall! Hey, glasses stand on the stairs! Everyone crouch down and I need all of you to jump as soon as Fred hits the lights!" Harper continues to yell at everyone, "Fred do I need to send an invitation for you to go and stand by the fucking lights?"

"I'm going, mom." Freddie snarls, making his way to the lights.

"Don't make her disown you." I chuckle.

"I will disown both of you." Harper smiles, as my phone pings from my back pocket.

"They're outside!" I yell.

"Hit the lights!" Hayden says, pulling me down, as Fred turns off the lights.

The doorknob rattles as everyone holds their breath, Nat struggles with the key given to her by Harper for almost two whole minutes. Harper sighs and just decides to open the door from inside.

"Hey, Alex." I hear Harper.

"Why are you all dressed up? Why  is everything so dark-"

Fred turns the lights on as everyone screams at the top of their lungs while jumping up and down. Alex almost runs out the door as the shouting caught him off-guard.

"SURPRISE!"

"Oh, my fucking-" Alex exclaims.

"Happy Birthday." Harper hugs him.

Fred runs to them and joins in, and I shove the drink in my hand down my throat and make Hayden hold my cup as I sprint to join the group hug, Nat joins right after me.
