[Song for the chapter:
We Belong - Dove Cameron]Tori's P.O.V
It's been two days since Ian and I kissed, and you can say that we couldn't keep our hands off of each other ever since. We ate lunch together, not at my friends' table or the popular table, we found the quietness of the empty hallway more suitable for us.
I feel like finally without any interruption I can date a guy I know and like, who actually likes me back. I feel like I'm happy without any consequences after so long.
I mean, of course, the whole Tyler Harper breakup thing can be counted as a consequence but I like to think even if that didn't happen we'd still be together.
Ian seems to enjoy this whole "taking it slow" thing, which is obviously very new to him. He's used to girls instantly saying 'yes' to him, but I'd like to see him work for it.
I've never been the kind to believe that everything happens for a reason, but maybe that's changed. Maybe I was supposed to make the biggest mistake of my life for me to realize what I've been looking for was right in front of me.
"What are you thinking about?" Fred asks.
"Nothing." I shrug.
"She's trying to think of more ways to play Hide The Zuchini with Russell." Alex snots while stuffing his face with fries, making everyone laugh.
I take a few fries in my hand and throw them at him, making everyone augh harder.
"Don't waste food dumb ass." Harper chirps in, collecting the fries that survived the fall and ended up on the table.
"Listen to your mom, children." Nat says smugly.
"You know what-" Harper reaches across the table to slap or punch Nat, only to be stopped by Hayden.
Today after so long we decided to hangout at Rob's, of course a few people were missing. As much as I wanted to introduce Ian as my "Boyfriend" to my friends, I couldn't. Even when I'm not sure if Ian's my boyfriend or not. I can't risk Ian breaking his nose again, or the whole group ganging up against him.
"I have to go," I say after Hayden finishes up another one of his hilarious stories from when he was sent away.
"Of couse."
"Can't keep him waiting."
"Sexy times-"
"Too much?"
"Horny much?"
"Trying out some new positi-"
"Can you all just shut the fuck up?" I yell, after being drowned in weird complains from my friends.
"I swear she wasn't this rude before." Fred says.
"It's the pressure from the relationship." Harper tags along.
"Oh." I cross my arms, and stare at Harper with disbelief.
"That makes so much sense!" Nat exclaims.
"I'm just gonna leave-" I start to walk.
"See you!"
"Goodbye."
"Spare us the details of you amazing se-"
And the door closes at the perfect time.
I couldn't stop myself from thinking about Ian the whole time I was walking to his house. I couldn't help but think about how it would feel to wake up in his arms after a night of unspeakable things. I could't help but think what it would feel like to feel his stark naked body against mine, with sweat surrounding us and our natural musk clouding over us.
