[Song for the chapter:
Same old love- Selena Gomez]Tori's P.O.V
The light sound of a conversation wakes me up from my deep sleep. I slowly open my eyes, and let them adjust themselves to the light.
"Morning." A voice startles me, making me flinch.
"What the-" I say, looking at a very smiley Tyler.
"It's okay, it's me Tyler." He smiles at me.
"I know it's you Tyler," I roll my eyes, "Where's Harper?"
"She's in the kitchen, making breakfast." He replies.
"When did you come?" I sit up straight on the couch, facing Tyler.
"I've been watching you sleep for about thirty minutes," Tyler says instantly earning a weird look from me, "wait- that's not right. I came here thirty minutes before you woke up. I'm not a creep." He mumbles.
"It's fine," I laugh, "I know you're not."
"What'd you do all night?" Tyler asks.
"We watched a few FRIENDS episodes and also Brooklyn nine-nine. Ate a few litres of ice-cream. I cried and Harper listened to my sob story, which I think she already told you about?" I say.
"Yep." He replies popping the 'P'.
"Hey Daddy." Harper comes in the living room from the kitchen.
"Hey." Both me and Tyler greet her at the same time. Tyler shoots me a nasty glare.
"Do you call both of us Daddy?" Tyler asks, clearly offended.
"I begged her not to call me that, but then again we both know her." I inform him.
"Yes, I do call both of you Daddy. You're welcome." She laughs, sitting right in the middle.
"What's the time?" I ask, rubbing my eyes.
"We have 30 minutes to get to school." Tyler, looks at his invisible clock on his wrist.
"That's fine with me. I'm not going." I lie back down.
"You are coming."
"I'm not."
"Please?" Tyler gives me the best puppy face he's capable of.
I don't want to go but I can't really refuse him, "I- I don't know."
"I'll be your personal bodyguard for the day." He grins like a five year old.
"But-"
"I'll rip him to shreds if he comes near you." Harper interrupts.
"Fuck. Ok. But I'm counting on you two." I say, jolting up, "I'm just gonna go upstairs and get ready."
"See ya!" Harper says, with Tyler rapidly throwing his hands around the air probably waving goodbye.
I feel way better than I did last night. I guess you just need the right people. Harper and Tyler are probably the most suitable people to come to, if you ever go through a breakup.
Walking in Harper's massive closet, I notice a oversized black jumper and some black pants left on a chair, of course Harper thought it would be a good idea to express my feelings through my clothing. And I'm fine with it, I'll just celebrate the funeral of my relationship.
I quickly put on the clothes and brush my hair, kinda. I still have bloodshot eyes and decide not to even try to hide them. Instead I take one of Harper's baseball caps, which is also black, to hide my face from people I want to avoid.
