[Song for the chaper:
Left Hand Free by alt-J]Tori's P.O.V
"-I thought she loved him."
"They were couple goals."
"Never took her to be the cheating kind."
A few of the things Harper had to hear at school after coming out of the bathroom. Well the good news is that she made it out. It's Saturday now and Harper and I are waiting for the rest to show up. We decided to tell them the truth as soon as possible as some of them acted real cold towards Harper at school.
"Are you sure?" Harper asks, out of the blue.
"Yes, I am." I nod, knowing what she's talking about.
"No, think about it," She sits up straight in my living room sofa, "They'll look at you the same way they're looking at me now."
"They'll understand." I say, more to myself, "You did."
"Maybe."
As if on cue the doorbell rings. I open the door with a sigh, as I see Alex, Nat, Fred, and Hayden standing with frowns on their faces. They follow me inside without anyone saying a single word.
"Why are we here?" Alex asks.
"What are you talking about? We hang out every day." I try to laugh it off, which sounded more like a cry for help.
"Well," Harper starts, "I did no such thing as cheating on Tyler."
"But-" Nat speaks up, only to be interrupted.
"Why did she tell Tyler that she did?" I finish his question for him.
"Well. I did technically go on a date with Terry, but I did not kiss him let alone sleep with him." Harper explains.
"Damn it, I wanted to know how small he actually is," Fred says trying to lift up the mood, and he kinda succeeds as all of us let out a small laugh.
"It wasn't really a date then?" Hayden speaks this time.
"No, not really." She shrugs.
"Why did you go on this 'date' date?" Alex asks.
"Because of me." I sigh.
"You?" He asks again.
"Yeah, well-" I stop before I can say anything else.
"You don't have to." I feel Harper's hand on my shoulder.
"I want to," I nod, "I-"
I make eye contact with Alex, he's not really that close to Francy, they hardly ever talk. I move my eyes to Fred, he talks to her for the sake of this group. Nat, she and Francy are not 'friends', I don't think they know each other that well. Hayden probably met her like a few times, she's hardly ever around.
"I-" I take a deep breath, "I helped Nathan cheat on Francy."
"What?" I hear Nat's voice, as I hang my head from my shoulders and stare at my feet.
"Are you serious?" Fred asks.
I don't say anything.
"Are you telling the truth, Tori?" He asks again.
"Yes, I am! " I yell. " I am telling the truth. I know she's our friend. I know I'm a cheating whore, and-and-"
"It's okay." I hear Harper's voice.
"Is Nathan going to leave her for you?" Nat asks.
"No-"
"So, she doesn't know?" she asks again.
