3rd person's P.O.V

"Wait, first let's grab our bags." Nat says.

"Do we have to?" Ian says, looking annoyed.

"Yes." Everyone says at once.

"Bunch of saints." Ian mutters to himself and everyone follows him inside.

While Tori and Harper were getting their bags out of the locker, Alex noticed Jessica with a guy. Who? It didn't matter. What mattered was that Jessica was standing pretty close to him, playing with the collar of his shirt.

Alex had seen this happen one or two times before but said nothing. But for how long?

Fred and Hayden appear beside Alex.

"C'mon. Dude." Hayden says, looking at Jessica.

"They're probably just-" Alex tries to come up with something that he knows isn't true.

"They're probably just what?" Hayden says.

Alex sighs, there's no point. It's obvious what was going on right in front of him. He couldn't deny it anymore.

"You should talk to her. Like, right now." Hayden suggests.

If it were any other time Alex would have disagreed. But for some reason he feels like he needs to sort this out, right now.

"Right, okay." Alex takes a deep breath and walks over to Jessica.

"Jess, we need to talk." Alex says, mustering up all the courage he had.

Jessica turns around to look at him, "I'm kind of busy right now." she says, gesturing to the boy behind her.

"This is important." He says, this time with a little more confidence.

"That's too bad, because it has to wait." She says, with a hint of impatience in her voice.

"It can't. I have to talk to you, right now. Please."

"I don't have time for you right now Alex." She rolls her eyes.

"Do you ever? Because everytime I want to talk to you you're somehow busy."

Jessica raises an eyebrow at the change of his tone, "What is wrong with you?"

"It's you- you're never here anymore. You're always busy, or you're with someone else. It's like we aren't even together." Alex scoffs.

"So what are you saying? You want to break up with me?" Jessica challenges, taking a step closer to Alex.

"I- that's not what I meant." Alex says, clearly taken aback.

"Thought so. You're a coward, not brave enough to do it anyways."

Alex looks away, because he knows it's true. He doesn't have the guts to do it.

Many people by now stopped whatever they were doing to listen. After all, Jessica Fits and Alex Woods were having a fight.

On the other hand, Natalie couldn't see Alex this way. She wouldn't let Jessica get away with humiliating Alex in front of everyone.

She walks over to Alex and grabs his hand, "Let's just go Alex, she's not worth it." She say, glaring at Jessica.

"Aw, here to save your little crush? Since he obviously can't stand up for himself."

Now Natalie was in a state of shock. How did Jessica know she liked Alex? Did Alex tell her?, "How do you-"

"You think I'm stupid? You think I don't see you two together? You know, the best part of dating Alex was you. Seeing you hopelessly staring at him, knowing you couldn't make him yours. It's sad, really." She smirks.
