Chapter 4

Karina's POV
During magcon Taylor was looking for someone but I guess he couldn't find them. But when shawn started to perfom we made eye contact and I just couldn't take it he was such am amazing singer.

After magcon was over maddie and I waited till everyone left bc we didn't want to leave early to beat traffic so why not wait till it's gone.

We were at the food court and there was like 5 other groups of girls bedsides us.

We were on our phones posting about magcon on twitter when all of a sudden

"HOLY SHIT KARINA" maddie said standing up grabbing my arm "TAYLOR CANIFF JUST DM ME!!!"

I couldn't help but break a little when I heard that because that would never happen to me with shawn.

But then all of those groups of girls went running and screaming to the chipotle line and I was wondering why when I saw shawn and nash In line getting food.

"OMG maddie they are over there! should we run over there or be cool and just sit here?" I said freaking out a little

"Just sit here I bet shawn remembers you"

"Ok!"

We sat here a little red to the face making fake cough noises for them to notice us.

Then it happend.
Shawn turned around and saw me we made eye contact and he smiled that's when my heart started racing.

"Hey" shawn said as him and nash approached the table.

"Uh hey!?" I said amazed he acually came over here

"Karina right?"

"Yeah"

"We'll seems like you two girls are pretty Lonley over here"

"we are just waiting for traffic to clear up we have nowhere to be so"

"Would you mind if me and nash joined you guys?"

Shawn Mendes just asked if we could sit sown next to me. ME like as in Karina who has such a fucked up life,really good at school, and hve like 5 friends.

"Ya totally!" I said a little too excited

"Awesome" shawn said sitting down next to me, as nash sat next to maddie.

"So what's your name" nash said to maddie

"Maddie" she said as her voice cracked

We all stated to laugh because maddie was so embarrassed.

"Ok hi maddie" nash said as I just stare at shawn

All four of us talked for what seemed like hours but it had only been like 30 minutes.

Then Cameron came out i think looking for the boys and when he saw they were sitting with us, I could tell he was hesitate about coming over. But he did anyway.

"Hey guys" cameron shouted coming towards us

"Yeah what's up cam" nash said sipping his soda

"You want a ride home because if ya do we are leaving in a sec"

Nash and shawn exchanged looks

"Sure I'll catch a ride" shaw said with a frown

"Me too" nash added

"OK me, cater and Matt will wait for you by the car"

"Ok" nash said as cam walked away

"Well I guess that's our cue to go" shawn seems so down about leaving but I was too. This has been the best day ever

"How about you give Karina your digits, I think she is trustworthy of that" nash said

I seiroulsy felt just jumping and hugging nash for that

"Yeah totally, you and maddie can swing by the house sometime and we can all hang again" shawn said puting his contact in my phone.

"Bye" i said as I hugged shawn
It was a long and warm hug I never wanted to end.

"Bye" nash said as him and shawn walked away

"I think that was the best non-meal I've ever had" maddie said as she posted the selfies her and nash took.

Then a notification popped up on my screen and I couldn't believe my eye I swear this day just gets better and better.

Shawn posted on Instagram and twitter a picture of me and him that nash secretly took I guess because we were just staring at each other laughing it was beautiful. He captioned it "had the best time with my new friend @funky2118 PC: @nashgrier"

I couldn't help but smile. I gained 400 followers giving my 11.4k on twitter and 2,000 followers on Instagram within that 10 minutes if that post.

Everyone was asking of we were dating and making up ship names. I wish we were dating.

We decided to to get in our car and go home.

When Maddie dropped me off at home my moms car was home but another car was there too and a really expensive one. It was like 9 at night. What the heck

As I worked inside I saw the table with half eaten food still on the table with an open wine bottle.
I could hear my mom laughing her fake laugh upstairs.

I walked up the stairs to my room. I'm so done right now. I changed into a sweatshirt and got my phone with my headphones and grabbed a 20$ out of my purse. I snuck downstairs without them hearing, I wrote on a sticky note
'took your car out you seemed busy I didn't think you would mind' and stuck it on the door. I took the car keys and left.

I just wanted to drive somewhere. When me and cameron dated freshman year (I'm a junior ) we would go to this place over by this really rich neighborhood that had a small forest and if you go far enough there was this perfect view of the city. That's where we had our first kiss.

When I reached the small forest I parked my car on the Side of the road and started to walk to our old spot. I always go here when I'm feeling down or just need to be alone.

I was walking when I hear some ones voice but not one but four? Five? Maybe even six people. As I got closer I had my headphones in as I made my way past the last tree I saw

Shawn playing his guitar, Nash,carter,Cameron,Taylor, and Matt doing a kinda photo shoot with Bryant.

Then they all saw me...

Crap.

Oops cliffhanger. I think im gonna update again either Thursday or after Halloween. Once I get a little farther ahead in the story I will start updating every weekend. I hope you guys like it so far =) share this story or recommend it. I'm shooting for 100 reads by the end of this weekend! Have an awesome day
