Chapter 7

Karina's POV
I woke up to my phone being blown up by Twitter notifications. They were all about me and Shawn. Someone said something. I looked to my right to see crumpled sheets but no Maddie.

"MADDIE?!?"

"ARE YOU CEREAL BONQUEQUE" she shouted as I heard her feet stomp up the stairs. (My nickname)

"I'm guessing you saw" I say to her as she stands at the doorway

"How could you not wake me up and tell me?!?"

"I love you?" It came out as more a question than telling her

"AHHHHHHHH" she said as she jumped on the bed and hugged me

"I'm so proud of my little girl!"

"Your not my mother! Your my sister" I said pushing her off of me as we laughed together.

It was pretty early in the morning so I wasn't surprised my mom wasn't home yet. I usually wake up really late during the summer.

Today was registration day at school I was so scared. To be completely honest I'm not the most popular girl there. I want sure how people would react to me dating a famous singer. We would have to go to school around 1:30 to get our books and I.D. Cards.

My phone started to ring the caller ID said it was Shawn

"Morning babe" he said in a deep voice I'm guessing he just woke up.

"Morning"

"What are we doing today?"

"Oh I have registration for school at 1:30"

"It's ok. How about I drive you and after we can go out to eat?"

"Ummmmm..." I said kinda stalling because what would people's reaction be when I walked in the room with Shawn Mendes arms around me. I wasn't ready for anything.

"Your scared what people will think?" He said reading my mind

"Yeah, sorry I just don't know"

"Ok well when you start school you gonna have to deal with it for a while because I don't plan on going anywhere soon might as well get it over with now" he said just making me smile.

"Ok fine your lucky your cute or I would have said no!"

"Haha ok I'll be over around 12:30 we can hang before we go"

"Ok"

I hung up And looked at the time it was 10am I had a few hours.

I went upstairs to get ready. I went into my bathroom to take a shower, while the hot water ran down my back I looked at my blade inside my soap cap I couldn't help it. I haven't cut since magcon and I felt the need to after this amazing yet stressful week. What would the people at school do to me now that they knew about me and Shawn? I slide the blade across my thigh multiple times. I hate myself.

Once I got out I put on some jeans, a tee shirt that I wore to magcon 'lol your not Shawn Mendes' because I will be with him and it will show in my pictures. I looked on the mirror at my thighs that were scard with cuts and freshly new cuts, once Shawn see's my scars he will never want to be with me I'm ugly.

"Karina?" Maddie said knocking on the bathroom door

"Come in" I said holding back tears

She rushed in embracing me in a hug as I fell to the floor balling in her arms.

"Oh Karina you were doing so well." Maddie just knew.

"I'm just scared he won't like me and leave me or even end up like me and cam"
