It was a cold autumn in Colorado. It was raining heavily, and huge thunder could be heard echoing in the pizzeria.

All employees didn't even want to go home with such conditions outside.

So they were given extra responsibilities, despite it being after work hours.

Ronaldo and Matt were supposed to clean the kitchen.

Jack and Dave were supposed to clean the dining area, since it was very messy.

"Jack, where is Dave? I couldn't find him anywhere..." Steven asked.

"Maybe he is in the saferoom?" Jack put down a wet rag he was cleaning a table with to go investigate.

He walked down the hallway, hearing a thunder echo outside once again.

Just when he opened the saferoom door he heard snifling and sobbing. He was confused, but when he fully opened the door, he was even more confused.

Dave, the kiddie strangler, with his knees to his chest, crying?

The purple man looked up at him, his eyes glossy, tears dripping down his face.

Seeing Dave like this made Jack's heart feel like it's wrenching.

Before the orange man could fully analyze his face, the aubergine looked down, embarassed. When the thunder striked again, he shook violently, a wave of sobs escaping his lips.

He couldn't even form a word properly.

Jack couldn't stand just watching him anymore, so he ran up to him and hugged the man, kneeling in front of him.

It was clear now, Dave has a fear of thunder, and he's having a panic attack.

Hoping that it wouldn't be too weird, Jack ran his hand through Dave's long hair softly, trying to calm him down.
"Dave, it's going to be okay, just breathe, okay? Like this..." Jack instructed and slowly breathed in and out a few times. Luckily, Dave followed and did the same.

A small smile was appearing on Dave's face as he did the breathing excercises together with Sportsy.

After a few minutes, a loud lightning strike could be heard outside, but Dave didn't freak out.

He was calm now, wiping his tears.

Old Sport pulled away, giving Dave some space.

"T-T-Thanks... Old Sport..." Dave finally said something. It was obvious that he was embarassed that Sportsy saw him having a panic attack over a thunderstorm.

"Don't mention it, Dave... So... You're... Scared of storms?" Jack asked, immedeatly feeling like a moron afterwards.

"Y-Yeah... I've always been scared of em', since my childhood, when I used to sleep on New York streets. Even after I started working with Henry, he never really helped me with my fear, since he's busy and all, ya know?" Great, Jack has another reason to hate Henry.

"So, I just... Break down, I guess, and can't stop myself from crying..." Dave said, looking at the ground.

"That's called a panic attack. I used to have these as a teen." Jack explained, his eyes getting hot from memories of his parent's death day.

"Aw, I feel bad for you, Sportsy, honestly..." Dave looked at him, a small tint of red on his face.

"It's fine, really. By the way, Steven told us to clean the dining area, you wanna come help me?" Jack opened the saferoom door, pointing at it, so Dave can walk out first.

"Okay, Old Sport. Thanks again, by the way. For helping me."

---

The storm had stopped already, so Steven let the employees go home. But then he realized that he didn't see the orange and purple men ever walk out.

He started looking around the dining area, muttering "ugh, where are they?".

Then, he saw Jack lying on top of Dave on the family sized dining table's seat. Well, they looked comfortable.

"Oh. Really." Steven thought to himself and walked away, inspecting the dining area, to see if it was clean.

He decided to just leave them there, sleeping. They did a good job today.
