The next day, Emiri was left home alone— Her parents had to go out to attend an interview for her older brother. Her mother had told her that she had left dinner in the fridge for Emiri to reheat later. Grabbing an apple, she bit into it and headed to a small reading nook in the living room to get her homework done.
Halfway through an English Language translation assignment, Emiri threw the core of her apple out into her front yard. She took an extra second before she shut the window to feel the nice breeze on her skin. As she moved to close the window, she watched as a crow flew down and started pecking at the apple, knocking it around her front yard until it picked it up in it's beak and flew away.
Watching the crow, she thought back to the USJ attack— specifically the giant Nomu that had attacked All Might. After the incident, U.A had closed for two days, most likely to repair the damages and possibly up security around the building. Though there was the added concern of press flooding her class as they tried to get into the building.
She let out a small sigh and closed the window, a small snap sounding when the latch automatically locked. Just before she turned away from the window, a news car rolled up in front of her house and she watched as some reporters stepped out of the van. Quietly Emiri collected the homework she was working on and placed it into a folder. This wasn't the first time reporters came over to her house, her parents were Pro Heroes after all. Reporters coming by the house to try to talk with them was rather common. She placed the papers into her school bag before she went downstairs to the training rooms— whenever reporters came around to talk to her parents, it was easier to pretend that nobody was home.

Another day passed and U.A was open once again. Walking through the hallways, Emiri could sense that people were tense, she didn't blame them. A villain attack on a supposedly secure school? That's enough to make anyone uneasy— anyone except the villain who attacked.
Calmly she headed to her classroom and opened the door, seeing that most of her class was already there, chatting with each other. Listening to snippets of their conversations, they were all talking about how they were on the news.
"Alright everyone!" Iida shouted as he moved to the front of the room. "Class is about to start! Get in your seats!"
"You're t-the only one not in your seat, Iida." Emiri pointed out as she sat down.
Iida paused, before speed-walking to his desk and sitting down.
The bell rang and Emiri looked towards the door. I wonder who's going to sub today. I doubt that Mr. Aizawa will be well enough to teach us- her thoughts were cut off once she saw none other than Mr. Aizawa walk through the door.
"Mr. Aizawa! What are you doing here?" The class exclaimed.
"Mr. Aizawa!" Iida said, raising his hand high in the air. "I'm glad you're okay!"
"That's okay?" Emiri asked quietly.
"My well being is irrelevant, what's more important is that your fight isn't over yet."
A panic ran through the class, and Emiri filter her head. Did he know of another oncoming villain attack?
"The UA Sports festival is about to start."
"Ah! Why would you scare us like that?" Everyone shouted, then excitement started going around.
"Let's kick some ass!" Kirishima shouted, any previous concern gone without a trace.
