It was finally summer vacation, and Emiri found herself at U.A, surrounded by all the other girls of the class.

How did I end up here, again? She asked herself as she stretched with the other girls.

"Wait, so we're not supposed to take any long trips over summer vacation?" Uraraka asked.

"Yeah, apparently that's what the school said." Jiro said.

"How unfortunate. I was supposed to spend several weeks touring Venice with my parents." Momo said.

"Aww! And I just bought like a bazillion new swim suits!" Mina groaned.

"Well, turns out that's what happens when your class is attacked by the League of Villains." Jiro said.

Emiri nodded, "I'm sure they're doing this to keep us safe." She said.

"But I wanna do something! I don't wanna spend my whole summer bored!" Mina said.

"I've got it!" Hagakure exclaimed. "Why don't we hang out at the school pool over summer vacation, huh?"

"Good idea, I bet we could talk the teachers into letting us use it if we ask them nicely!" Tsuyu exclaimed.

"Plus it's free so we'll save money!" Uraraka said.

"That's way better than being cooped up in my room." Mina said.

"Leave it to me, I'll start working on a formal proposal right away!" Momo said.

"It sounds fun and all, but I'm not really the swimming type. Besides, I'll most likely be busy!" Emiri said, lifting her hands up.

"No way! You're totally joining us Koyama!" Mina exclaimed, hooking her arm around Emiri's , "It'll be fun!"

And that was how she had been dragged along. Of course she tried to resist by not answering the door but her brother answered it anyways and he ended up forcing her to go with them as well, so here she was, at the pool, when she could be doing stuff that would better prepare her for the training camp.

On the other side of the pool, the boys had gathered together. Apparently they were going to be using the pool for endurance training.

"Oh hey, Hi M*neta." Tsuyu said.

"I didn't know you guys would be here." Jiro said.

Emiri watched as Iida walked up to the two boys and then carried them back to the rest of the group as they struggled in the boy's arms.

After stretching, the girls for into the pool and started splashing around. Emiri was perfectly content sitting on the side lines and watching as her friends splashed around with a beach ball Mina had brought.

"Aren't you going to join us, Koyama?" Hagakure asked.

Emiri looked towards the invisible girl, "O-oh, no. I'm good here." She said.

"Nonsense! You'll have more fun playing in the water than sitting on the sidelines!"

"I-I'm perfectly fine here."

"Don't tell me, Koyama, do you not know how to swim?" Jiro asked.

Emiri's cheeks warmed up, "I-I, I uh, I totally k-know how to swim! W-who doesn't? I just, don't... find... it, um, fun..." her voice trailed off near the end as she nervously tapped the tips of her fingers together.

"No way! You don't know!" Mina exclaimed.

"Don't advertise it to the whole class!" Emiri whisper yelled, knowing her cheeks were most likely bright pink at this point. "I just never learned is all." It was true, she had been bedridden at the time most kids learned to swim, and by the time she was better that time had passed and Emiri just never had any time to learn.
