*Yeets in for a hot sec* So, sorry for not updating in like,,, weeks. I find it hard to write the sports festival so I tend to avoid it, BUT I have more time now since it's getting close to a break form school so hopefully I'll have more time to work on this book!

Emiri and the others girls started walking towards the stadium after changing. She kept on tugging at her skirt, her cheeks a soft pink as she felt the stares of everyone around her.

"It's finally here! It's almost time for the last round!" Present Mic was announcing as they walked through the tunnels. "But before that, good news for everyone who didn't make the finals, since they say it's a Sports Festival, we've prepared semi super fun side games for everyone to participate in! We even brought in cheerleaders from America to get your blood pumpin!"

As they were walking onto the open field, Emiri noticed that none of the other girls were wearing the cheerleader uniform. Her hands tightened around the Pom-poms she was holding as she stared holes into the ground.

"Hold up-" Present Mic said once they got onto the field.

"What are they doing?" Aizawa asked.

Emiro glanced towards the screens, tensing up a bit when she saw that her along with the other girls of her class were projected onto it.

"Looks like class 1-A is going full on fan service!" Present Mic shouted.

Momo looked towards Kaminari and Mineta, who were giving each other thumbs up. "You pervs, you're gonna regret this!" Emiri watched as she fell to her knees in defeat. "Why is it that I always end up falling for that little pervert's stupid schemes. I even used my quirk to make these outfits."

Jiro threw her Pom-poms to the ground, "Uhg, I hate those guys!"

"Well, we do have a little time before the finals start, and I kinda like these uniforms, so, how 'bout we just roll with it!" Toru exclaimed, her Pom-poms waving in the air.

"Are you crazy?!" Jiro asked.

"I mean... we are already in these o-outfits." Emiri spoke up, tapping her pom-poms together, "S-so we might as... as well g-give a l-little cheer, right?"

Toru ran next to her and hooked her invisible arm around Emiri's pulling her a bit, "That's the spirit! Come on guys, if timid Koyama says to roll with it, then let's do it!"

Present Mic spoke up, stopping the girl's conversation there, "Have fun competing in those little side-games everyone! After they're over, the top sixteen students will be competing one on one in a tournament style fighting competition! I promise you're not gonna want to miss these epic match ups!"

Before the side games started, veryone gathered in front of the podium, seeing Midnight holding a box in her hands.

"Come close and see who you're up against then ." She said. "Then enjoy the pleasure of the recreational games before we start. The sixteen finalists have the option of participating in those activities or sitting out to prepare for battle. I'm sure you all want to conserve your stamina. I'll start with the first place team!"

Not too far from her, Emiri saw Ojiro raise his hand, "Um, excuse me. Sorry, but I'm withdrawing."

"Withdrawing... but why?" Emiri asked. "This is a chance to show your potential and prove your worth."

"Exactly. This is a rare chance for you to get scouted." Iida said.

"It just wouldn't be right. I barely remember anything from the Calvary Battle until the very end of it. I... think it was that guys quirk."

That guy... who was hit partner? Emiri thought, looking around the crowd, trying to spot anyone it could be. Not too far off, there was a boy with spike up purple hair. She remembered him from the time the other classes had come to scope them out. He was the main one to talk to them. Hitoshi Shinso. He's in general studies, his quirk I believe is something like brain washing. That's quite a useful quirk She thought. I know of someone who could really benefit if he got his hands on a quirk like that.

"I know this is great opportunity. I wish I could take advantage of it, but my conscience won't let me. Trust me, I've thought about it a lot. Everyone gave their all in round two, but I was just somebody's puppet. No way, I don't wanna advance if I don't even know how I got here. It wouldn't be fair."

Around her, Emiri listened to everyone trying to encourage Ojiro to rethink his decision. She walked up to him and placed a hand on his arm, looking up at him, "U-um. I think y-you should follow what you d-decide. This isn't going to be the o-only chance to prove yourself."

Ojiro looked down at Emiri, a small smile appearing on his face, "Thanks, Koyama."

"Shoda Nirengeki from class 1-B." A ice-blue haired boy said, stepping out of the 1-B crowd. "I think I should withdraw for the exact same reason. Regardless of how strong I am, this isn't how I wanted to get here. It would go against the values of the festivals to advance without earning my spot!"

Throwing away a chance like this one takes a lot of guts. Emiri thought, Though, I guess not everyone is in the same situation as me, so I guess they can drop out without any repercussions.

"Well now, here's another weird turn of events." Present Mic said.

"We'll have to see what Midnight has to say about all this, she's the one in charge." Aizawa said.

"This sort of talk is incredibly naive, my boys! That turns me on! Shoda, Ojiro, you're withdrawn!" Midnight announced.

Turns her on? Is... is it okay for her to be a teacher? Like, be around students in general-? Emiri thought.

After moving up two students from the sixth place team— after Kendo from the fifth place team passed it onto them claiming that they also didn't do much during the second round— Shiozaki and Tetsutetsu were chosen to adavance onto the next round.

Eventually everyone drew their lots and the bracket was created. Looking up at it, Emiri searched for her name, spotting it under the bracket for the sixth round. She looked at who she was up against— Yaoyorozu. She looked towards the teen, the two of them making eye contact.

"Looks like we're fighting against each other on the first round, Koyama." She said.

Emiri nodded, reaching her hand out towards Momo, "No, uh, no hard f-feelings about who wins and looses, okay, Yaomomo?"

Momo smiled and took her hand, "Of course not. Let the best fighter win."
