It was Jisung and Queenie's first date. The boy had prepared all the things well: a fancy car, a fancy restaurant where they will eat, and a fancy boat ride across the Han River while watching spectacular light shows.
Jisung also picked a expensive suit and tie, wanting to look good on their first day. "Firsts must be special.." he smiled, while looking at the mirror. After changing and preparing, he rides on his fancy car straight to Queenie's house.
He was speechless when he saw Queenie, wearing a very bright, yellow dress, hair tied up nicely, with matching some cute flower crown. "How do I look, Sungie?" she asked.
The taller smiled and went to caress his girlfriend's face. "Always pretty, Queen.." The girl laughs. "I can't wait to see what you prepared.. Let's go?" Jisung nods and opened the car door for Queenie.
After twenty minutes, they had arrived on the fancy restaurant Jisung had made an reservation with. They went inside and a waiter quickly assists them. However, Queenie looks really uncomfortable.
After sitting down at the table, she takes a peek at the menu and was shocked. "This is too much pricey, Sungie.." she protested. "It's okay, Queen.. I got this.." She closes the menu and looks at Jisung.
"Let me guess.. After this, we're gonna go on a boat ride and watch some beautiful firrworks, am I right?" Jisung looks at her, surprised. "Why, yes.. How did you know?" Queenie sighed.
"Sungie.. You don't have to get me this expensive things.. A simple date would be enough.." she smiled. Jisung scratches his head. "Uhmm.. I don't have any idea what a simple date is.." Queenie laughs.
"Then, let me show it to you.." pulling Jisung outside from the restaurant.
She had Jisung drove to a local park, where street foods are everywhere. Queenie's eyes sparks on happiness, while looking around. She taught Jisung how to eat fish cakes, rice cakes and blood sausages.
They went to a local arcade and played games. Queenie was clapping really hard while watching Jisung playing dance revolution. "Wooh! That's my boyfriend!" she cheered.
After that, they took a walk along the riverside of Han River, watching the colorful fountain at the bridge. They were enjoying the moment, walking hand in hand, while eating popsicle sticks.
Suddenly, they saw a boy crying at the middle of the street. The mother of the boy is frustrated, seeing his son making tantrums. Queenie quickly runs to the boy and kneels down, eye level with the boy.
"Why are you crying?" she asked. The boy looks at her. "Mommy won't buy me any toys.." the boy cried. "Maybe mommy is just saving up to buy you a better toy.." she smiled.
"But I want the robot toy!" the boy screeched. Queenie didn't panicked and just smiled. She hums her favorite song 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and rubs the boy's hair, making the kid relaxed.
After the kid calmed down, she pulled out a candy from her pocket, and hands it to the kid. "Apologise to your mommy, okay? She might be sad.." The boy ate the candy and nods happily, running back towards his mother.
Jisung had witnessed it all and is amazed. He realized that he was so lucky, having a girlfriend like Queenie.
