Jisung was surprised, knowing that Chenle's heart and eyes donor is none other than his ex-girlfriend, Queenie. He doesn't know what to say, but deep inside, he's thankful because Queenie allowed Chenle to live.
"Queenie has blue eyes, Mrs. Kim.. How does Chenle's eyes are colored like chocolate brown?" he asked. "His eyes are originally blue, Jisung.. That's why he was wearing contact lenses on his first day at the university.. However, it changed to brown, and we consulted it to the doctor.. But they didn't even know what happened.."
Jisung just nods and tried to understand everything. However, there's this small doubt on his heart in regards with his feeling towards Chenle. No offense, but questions like "Did I like Chenle just because Queenie's heart is on his body?" appeared on his mind.
His thoughts were interrupted when Chenle holds his hand and suggests that they should go to Queenie's house and express his gratitude towards her parents, which Jisung agreed.
It was a sunny morning and they are now walking towards Queenie's house, hand in hand. Jisung keeps stealing glances on Chenle, who looks really cheerful, enjoying the morning sunshine. He feels bad that there's this doubt on his heart.
On the other hand, Chenle scans the surrounding, because it was familiar to him. Until they had stopped on a very familiar shop. The sign reads, "Song Of Your Fate.."
"Here we are, Lele.. This shop is owned by Queenie's grandmother.." he explained. However, the smaller is still dumbfounded, looking at the shop, which Jisung noticed. "Are you alright, Lele?" he asked. "This is the shop that I mentioned, Sungie.. Where I met a very cool grandmother.." he said.
The door of the shop suddenly opened, revealing the old woman who's smiling at them. "Lola!" Chenle called happily then runs to the woman happily, while Jisung just stood there. The old woman looks at him and signalled him to come to. "Come on in, Jisung.. We've been expecting both of you.."
Jisung was quite shocked when he saw Queenie's parents inside the shop. He bowed politely at the two. "Hope you're doing well, Mr. and Mrs. Song.." Chenle followed him and also bowed to the couple.
"Nice to see you again, Jisung.." Mrs. Song smiled. Then, she looks at Chenle with loving eyes and motioned him to come closer. The smaller goes in front of her and was shocked when he was engulfed by a warm hug from the woman.
"You've been through a lot, Chenle-ssi.. I am happy that you've bravely overcome the hurdles on your life.." she smiled. "Thank you, Mrs. Song.." Chenle replied. "Thanks to Queenie.. To you and Mr. Song.. To lola.. For giving me a second chance to live.." tears starts to flow from his eyes.
The woman immediately pulls out her handkerchief and wipes the smaller's tears. "It was Queenie's wish.. She wants you to have it for you to live, Chenle-ssi.." she assured to him. "It's just funny to see the three of you; you, Jisung and Queenie are linked to each other.." she said amusingly.
"Wait.. You said you're expecting us.. How did you know that we're coming?" Jisung asked. "Oh, about that.. The hospital called us, saying that someone wants to know who the donor is.. Then, we heard that it was Chenle's mom who's asking.. So we allowed the hospital to reveal us.." she explained.
After eating some bagels and drinking tea, the couple invited Chenle to look inside their house, which the smaller happily accepted. Jisung, on the other hand, decided to stay at the shop and accompany Queenie's grandmother.
He was looking around the shop when the old woman approached her. "How have you been, Jisung?" she smiled. "Great.." he answered back. "So, are you and Chenle are finally dating?" she asked. "Yes, Lola.." Jisung answered, but with a hint of worry.
"You can tell me everything.." she assured. Jisung took a deep breath and looks at her. "I'm just worried, Lola.. After I knew that Queenie is the donor of Chenle, something in my mind tells me that I just liked him because he has her heart and eyes.."
The old woman smiled before hovering her palm to Jisung's chest. "Then, listen to your heart.." she smiled. Jisung looks at her and closed his eyes. His mind is now filled with images of Chenle. His heart is beating really fast, and in that moment, he knew..
He fell in love with Chenle, not because he has his ex-girlfriend's heart and eyes, it's because he's Chenle himself. The cutie who stole his heart and makes it swoon sweetly. The cutie who's clingy at him. The cutie who he fell in love with.
Jisung opened his eyes and smiled at the old woman. "Thank you, Lola.."
The family insisted that they stay until dinner, and they accepted it wholeheartedly. It was seven in the evening when they left the shop, and the sky is now dark, filled with twinkling stars.
They walked silently, hand in hand. But Chenle is too silent, which made the taller worried. The reason is earlier, while looking at Queenie's pictures, he had a realization that Jisung might like him because he has his ex-girlfriend's heart and eyes.
He didn't know why, but tears starts to flow from his eyes, which made Jisung alarmed. "What's the matter, Lele? Are you okay?" They had stopped walking and immediately wipes Chenle's tears with his hands.
Chenle looks up to him and sniffles. "I just felt scared, thinking that you only liked me because I have Queenie's heart and eyes.." he sniffles again. Jisung looks at him softly. "Lele.. No.." he assured. Since they're near at the park, they decided to take a seat at one of the benches and puts the smaller on his lap, hugging him tightly.
"Don't you ever think like that, Lele.." he softly said. "To be honest, I had doubts because of that.. But Lola helped me to look deep inside my heart.. And it was you, Chenle.. I really love you.. Not because of Queenie's eyes and heart.. But because it's you.." he smiled.
He connected their foreheads and stared lovingly at each other. "It will always be you, Chenle.." he smiled. The smaller smiled too. "I love you, Jisung.."
"I love you too, Chenle.. With no doubt, with all my heart.." he whispered before connecting their lips for a sweet kiss, which conveyed the words that they want to say to each other.
