It's still raining cats and dogs outside, following with a sudden brightness and a loud crash sound that illuminates the night sky. Jisung carried the smaller upstairs back to his bedroom, and tried to laid him down on the bed, but the smaller won't let go.
Jisung sits on the bed, positioning Chenle on his lap. He grabs Chenle's face softly to look at him, revealing the pouty face which made him chuckled. "Are you still scared, Chenle?" he asked softly. The smaller looks at him, nodding slowly.
"Sorry for letting you sleep alone, Chenle.. I didn't know that you're afraid of lightnings and thunders.. Oh, I feel really bad leaving you alone.." Jisung sighed, but the smaller shakes his head. "It's not your fault, Jisung.." he assured him.
Chenle's phone suddenly rings on the bedside table, so he slowly pulled away from Jisung's lap, crawls to the bed and answered his phone. It was his mother. "Mom?" he immediately asked after swiping the answer button.
"Lele! My goodness! Are you okay?" Taeyeon asked worriedly. "Yes, I'm fine.. Why did you call, Mom? It's already 2 in the morning.." Taeyeon looks at him amused at the other screen. "Really, Lele? And you're also awake on this hour?"
Chenle laughs cutely while scratching his head. "Really, Mom.. Why did you call?" Taeyeon released a deep breath, releasing all the worries on her. "I was about to sleep when I saw the weather update in there in Seoul, and saw that there's an upcoming thunderstorm.. Are you alright, Lele?"
"Yes, Mom.. Don't worry, Jisung was here with me.." he tilted the phone, revealing the taller hiding on his back. "Hello, Mrs. Kim.." Jisung greeted politely, showing himself on the video.
"Jisung!" the woman greeted her cheerfully. "I felt relieved now, knowing that you're there for my Lele.. Please take care of my baby.. He's really scared of thunders.." Chenle peeked again at the screen with a blushing face.
"Mooooom! You're embarrassing me!" he whined cutely. Jisung just laughs, watching the cute antics of the smaller. "Okay, okay! Now go to sleep, both of you.. It's really late.." she smiled. "Okay, Mom.. Take care of yourself.. I love you.." the smaller cutely sends a flying kiss.
Taeyeon responded back with a flying kiss. "I love you too, Lele.. See you soonest!" then she hung up the call. After he puts down his phone, he noticed that Jisung is just staring at him with a smile on his face. "What?" Chenle asked.
"You really are a baby.." Jisung teased him. "No, I'm not!" he whined cutely. The taller laughs again before standing up from the bed. "Now, go back to sleep, Chenle.. I'll return downstairs to sleep, so that you can rest here comfortably.. Okay?"
The smaller didn't answer and just looks at him. Jisung was about to leave when Chenle suddenly grabs his wrist, making him stop on his tracks. "Why, Chenle? Do you need something?"
Chenle couldn't look at him straight in the eye. "Can you sleep with me?" he stuttered. Jisung didn't know why, but his heart starts to beat fast from the smaller's request. "Sure.." he also stuttered. Chenle moved sideways to give him space.
Jisung slowly settled down on the bed, looking at the smaller beside him who was laying down already. Seeing the smaller getting ready to sleep, Jisung also laid down but leaves some small space between them.
However, he was shocked when Chenle scooted towards his side slowly. Then the smaller looks at him. "Sorry, Jisung.. I'm still quite scared.." he stuttered. He sighed, before pulling Chenle on his arms, which made the smaller squeaked.
He hugged the smaller tightly, his arms wrapping on his thin waist, while Chenle nuzzles his face on Jisung's neck. "Feeling better?" the taller asked. The smaller didn't answer, however, soft snores can be heard from him, which made Jisung laugh.
"Good Night, Chenle.." he whispered softly, before going to sleep as well with the smaller comfortably tucked on his arms.
