Both boys went out of the room, Jisung, carrying the smaller's backpack. It's quite heavy because of the warm clothes that they need to pack for the cold night of the camping. He saw Taeyeon and Heechul, still sitting at the living room, all eyes on him.
"Mom.. Uncle.. We'll go to Jisung's apartment now to settle my stuffs for tomorrow's overnight.." the smaller informed them. Taeyeon nods at him. "Okay, Lele.." Chenle proceeds towards the door, while Jisung bowed politely before following the smaller.
He was about to follow Chenle when Heechul cleared his throat, getting his attention. "Remember your promise, Jisung.. Take care of our Lele really well.." He looks at them with firm eyes and bowed politely again. "Of course, Heechul-hyung.. Mrs. Kim.."
When Jisung had left, Taeyeon laughs while looking at her brother. "I think we scared him real good.." Heechul laughs too. "I feel bad.. However, I can really feel that he would take care of our Lele really well.." Taeyeon released a deep breath before replying.
"I think you're right, Heechul-ie.. Jisung is a good man.." Afterwards, she smiled and looks at the sky through the clear window, feeling thankful because Chenle found someone who he can rely on. "Please always watch over your son, Siwon.." she whispered a prayer.
Meanwhile, while the two are walking towards Jisung's apartment, the taller took the opportunity to ask Chenle about what he noticed earlier. "Hmm.. Chenle?" he asked, making the smaller looked at him. "Hmm?" the smaller replied.
"Not to offend your mom and your uncle, why does they look at me like I'm gonna kidnap you or something?" he asked. Chenle stiffened up, recalling the earlier events on the house, and decided that it was the best to tell it to Jisung.
"It's about what I had said earlier.." Chenle starts, the taller listens to him intently.
"WHAAAAT?! YOU ASKED YOUR MOM IF WE COULD SLEEP TOGETHER?!" Jisung exclaimed, feeling flustered, his face blushes really hard. They are now inside Jisung's apartment, sitting on the living room floor, books and research papers had scattered everywhere.
Chenle decided to share it to the taller when they reached the unit, since his hunch was right that Jisung would be really shocked. "It was an honest mistake, geez.." the smaller rolled his eyes. "I meant, sleepover.. As per uncle Heechul's correction.. And what's bad in sleeping together, hmm?"
Jisung sighed before looking at Chenle straight in the eyes. "I do get you, Chenle.. At least, you learned something new to your vocabulary.. However, some words has a alternate meaning that would jeopardize the other meaning of it.."
"Ohhh.." Chenle nods in amusement, before asking again. "Then, what are the other meaning of 'sleeping together'?" Jisung looked away and excused himself. "I'll explain it next time.. For now, let's start working on our detailed activities.."
Chenle shrugged it off easily again. "Okay, Jisung.." then the smaller starts to look at the series of books about stars, getting some idea for their stargazing. Jisung was thankful that Chenle didn't brought up the topic again, assisting the smaller while researching for other topics as well.
Because he couldn't explain it really well on a respective manner, if Chenle would have ask it again.
