Arriving at the university, the two quickly went to the classroom for their class specifically for that day. It was another class with Professor Krystal herself, that's why Chenle is excited. He find the woman cool and amazing.
Jisung noticed the smile on the smaller's face while they were walking at the hallways. "You look really happy today, Chenle.." the taller suddenly said. Chenle looks at him and grins really wide, making his heart flutters.
He didn't know why, but Chenle's bright smile has this effect on him that he couldn't explain. "Oh, Chenle.. What are you doing in my heart.. Stop smiling like that.." Jisung protested on his thoughts.
He was awaken from his daze when Chenle speaks. "Because it's our class with Professor Krystal again.. I love her and I can tell that she is an amazing professor.." he said dreamingly. Jisung nods, agreeing with him. "Yeah, you're right.. She has this aura that is not too intimidating, and yet emitting this classy vibes.."
"I know, right?!" Chenle smiled really bright, getting a little bit too excited. They arrived at the room on time and saw the other students talking to each other while waiting for the professor to arrive. "Jisung!" Mirae yelled from the other side of the room.
The woman excitedly hops and clings on Jisung's arm, ignoring the fact that Chenle was with him. The taller tried to pull away from Mirae's touch, but the woman doesn't plan to go away. Chenle had understood the situation and looks at Jisung before going to their friend's seat.
Jisung annoyingly joins Mirae and her friends on their seat, while Chenle goes to Renjun and Haechan's seat as well. "Did that woman steal Jisung from you again?" Haechan asked. "No.. It's alright.." Chenle smiled cutely. "Aigoo.. You're too innocent, Chenle-ah.." Renjun pouts.
The smaller noticed that Jeno is sitting away at the farther back. "Jeno!" he yelled, making Renjun blushed, but quickly hides it away. "Come, sit here with us!" he happily called the boy. "I don't think that's a good idea, Chenle-" Haechan said but was cut off.
"I'm okay here, Chenle.. Maybe next time.." Jeno replied and smiled back. Chenle frowns, then sits at the chair. Professor Krystal had arrived, making the whole class quiet.
"Okay, class! What we are gonna do today is that, we will assigned the extra-curricular subjects for everyone!" she cheered. Most of them didn't understood what she meant, so she explained it further.
"These subject will be your free time as well.. You can choose a specific area of learning, like cooking, vlogging, fashion designing.. Whatever you want.. Here at the university, we want you to spend time on things that you really love to do, while studying.." she smiled.
"So, how does this work?" Mirae asked annoyingly, still not understanding it.
"You can work individually or with a partner.. You can choose a specific hobby or things that you wanted to do.. And after 3 months, you'll report what you've done and share with us some interesting things that you've learned.. Cool?" she asked.
Everyone liked the idea. "After you decided if you want to work individually or with a partner, come to me and relay all the details that you'll do.. Okay?" "Yes!" Everyone happily replied.
Mirae quickly looks at Jisung. "We can be partners, Jisung! And our topic would be a trip to beautiful places here at Korea for a couple to have their date! Like the idea?" The taller doesn't really want to be partnered with her.
Then, he looks at Chenle, who looks like a lost child. Maybe Renjun and Haechan decided to be partners, so he was left out. He sighed and looked at Mirae straightly in the eyes. "Sorry, Mirae.. I already have a partner.."
He stood up and quickly goes to Chenle, making Mirae really annoyed. On the other hand, Chenle didn't know what to do, so he just sits there quietly. Until he felt someone taps his shoulder, he looks back and saw Jisung smiling at him.
"Hey.." the taller stuttered. "Want to be partners?" Chenle smiled really bright, showing the happiness that he feels, and nods excitedly to the taller. "Yes!"
And in that moment, Jisung realized that Chenle was the bright sunshine on his life that shoved away the dark clouds that covers it. And he is really thankful about that.
