"Hey, Jisung.. Are you okay?"
Jisung broke off his daze when Renjun waves his hand in front of his face. "Ah, yes hyung.. Why?" he immediately flashed a smile. "You haven't even touched your food.. Are you feeling good?"
The taller looks at his noodles in front of him. It was cold already and the noodles had turned soggy to eat. "Want me to get a new order for you?" Haechan asked. Jisung waves his hands. "No, thanks hyung.. I'm feeling full.."
He sighed. He didn't know why that specific memory with Queenie flashed on his mind. He looks at Chenle who was sipping the soup cutely from the bowl. His face is so small, the bowl covered his whole face.
He didn't know why, but looking at Chenle always reminds him of his girlfriend.
Chenle noticed that Jisung is looking at him, so stared back, noodles still hanging from his mouth, and smiled at the boy. The taller giggles and mouthed to Chenle, "Don't play with your food!"
Haechan and Renjun looks at each other and sighs. "Jisung.. Always remember that we are always here for you, okay?" The taller looks at them and nods happily. "Thank you, hyungs.."
"By the way, did Chenle's mother found her way to your apartment?" Renjun asked. Jisung looks at Renjun suspiciously. "Wait.. How did you know that?" The chinese boy laughs out loud. "Of course, I was the one who instructed Chenle's mother to your apartment!"
"How did you know that Chenle is at my house?" the taller asked. "Duuuh! You posted it on our group chat, dumbass!" Jisung scratches his head, feeling dumb. "Ah.. I see.." Renjun laughs again.
After their lunch at the chinese restaurant near the university, Renjun insisted to pay all the food. "Junnie.. You don't have to.." Haechan smiled, rubbing his full tummy.
Renjun pokes his waist, earning an ear-piercing screech from the boy. "Don't act like you don't like it.." Chenle quickly went to Renjun's front and bowed politely. "Thank you, hyung, for the meal! I enjoyed it!"
Renjun ruffles his hair. "You're very welcome, Chenle.. So, where are you guys going?" "Jisung will take me to a job interview!" he cheered, making the others looked confused, and they all stared at Jisung.
Haechan quickly hugged Chenle protectively and glares at Jisung. "Where will you take my baby?" Jisung laughs softly. "Relax, hyungs.. I'll bring Chenle to Kun hyung's store.."
"Kun hyung?! Oh, Chenle's gonna be alright.." Renjun exclaimed. "You're gonna be in good hands.." Jaemin smiled at him. "Take care, both you.. Bye!" The boys had left, leaving the two alone.
"Shall we walk now?" Jisung asked. The smaller nods happily and starts to walk, when Chenle saw the park. "Wow! This park is amazing! Can we enter?" Jisung grins. "Of course.."
While they are walking inside, Chenle unconsciouly hums a familiar tune, staring happily at the beautiful flowers on the park's field. The taller looks at him with longing gaze on his eyes, seeing Queenie on the boy.
"Why does Chenle always reminds me of her?" he thought to himself. Drowning on his thoughts, he didn't see Chenle run and goes to a crying kid near the fountain area. Breaking his daze, he looks around and saw the smaller comforting the kid.
"Hey.. Why are you crying?" Chenle asked the kid, kneeling in front, wiping his tears. "I am lost.. I don't know where my mother is.." the kid cried. Chenle looks up to Jisung. "Jisung.. We have to help him.." The taller nods. "Of course.. I'll call the staff.."
He was about to leave to call for assistance when he heard someone humming 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'. He looked back and saw Chenle humming it to the kid. The kid had calmed down and relaxes on Chenle's touch.
"My baby! You found him!" A woman is running towards them. The kid smiled and yelled, "Mommy!" He quickly runs to his mother's arms and cried. The woman cried too and looks at both of them.
"Thank you, boys.." the woman wipes her tears. Chenle bowed to the woman and smiled at the kid. "Always stay on your mother's side, okay?" The kid nods and walked happily with his mom.
Meanwhile, Jisung didn't say anything. Tears starts to flow from his eyes, the exact scene had happen, like on his memory, but this time, it was like Queenie is telling him something. He remembered the girl's last days on the hospital.
"I want you to move on from me, Jisungie.. Love someone.. Cherish them, the way you loved and cherished me, hmm? Promise me, Jisung.." Queenie caressing Jisung's cheeks.
"Hey.. Are you alright, Jisung?" The taller walks up to him immediately pulled him for a hug, the smaller didn't expected it. He didn't know why the boy is crying, so he decided to go with the flow. He hugged back at Jisung and rubs his back.
