After their class, Jisung and Chenle went out together, discussing the activities that they need to do for their project. What they didn't know is that Renjun and Haechan are watching them, of course, with a smile on their eyes.
"Looks like your plan had worked, Junnie.." Haechan smiled at him. "I thought that you're being a meanie to Chenle earlier.." "I sincerely want to apologize about that.." Renjun smiled too. "Don't make it a big deal, Haechannie.. It is also my fault for not telling you.."
Both boys looked at each other, and gave high-five. "I really hope it works.. Seeing Jisung being a happy kid again after what he had been through last year.. It was an achievement.." Renjun said. "Seeing him happy because of Chenle, it gave me hope that he would open his heart again to someone else.."
"That was deep, Junnie.. That's why I admire you.." Haechan praised him, making the chinese boy blushed a little. "I hate you!" Renjun glared at him. Suddenly, Haechan's reaction swiftly transitions into a serious one.
"By the way, Junnie.. Speaking of opening your heart again.. When will you stop playing pretend?" Haechan asked seriously. Renjun was surprised and looked at his friend. "How did you knew?" the chinese boy asked, bowing down his head.
"I can tell, Junnie.. When will you stop it and face him?" Renjun raised up his head, then released a deep breath. "I am not ready yet.." he said, straight face on, before walking away. Haechan looks at him sadly. "Junnie.." he muttered, before following the boy.
"So.. When are we gonna start working for this project?" Jisung asked, walking slowly along the busy street with Chenle. "I think it would be good if we started it as soon as possible.." the smaller replied happily.
Jisung nods and pulls out his phone, listing the activities that they need to do. "First thing is that we need the basic knowledge about stars.. Then, we can identify some constellations and watch them real time at night, then-"
Chenle cuts him off with a high-pitched squeak. "Really? We're gonna see some constellations at night?! Where?!" he asked excitedly, sparks shining on his eyes. And of course, Jisung's heart starts to beat fast again. "Yes.. We can go camping or stargazing" he stuttered.
"That was exciting! I can't wait!" Chenle replied happily. Jisung smiled, watching the cute antics of the smaller. "You really are excited, huh?" The smaller looks at him happily. "Of course! It was my dream to study about stars! The first time my sight went back, stars are the first thing that I admired most.."
"Oh, I see.." Jisung said. "Then, it would be an honor to be your partner for this project and learn new things together about stars.." Chenle smiled brightly at him. "Thank you, Jisung.. Now, shall we go the library to research about stars?"
Jisung shakes his head. "No need, Chenle.. I have a complete set of books about stars at my parent's house.. Can you accompany me there to get it so we can study it together at my apartment?" Chenle didn't answer. He suddenly grabbed Jisung's hand and runs, tugging the taller.
"What are you doing, Chenle?" he asked while running. Chenle looked back and grins. "To your parent's house! Let's go!" he cheered. Jisung smiled and runs, with the same pace of the smaller.
"You really are full of surprises, Chenle.." he smiled.
