"Want some tea and cookies? I baked them.." the woman said comfortingly, making Chenle nods. He's too shy to accept the woman's kindness to him, and yet, deep inside, he felt really comfortable talking with her.
"Please take a seat in here.." she said, pointing at the beautiful table near the windows, where the warm afternoon sunlight seeps in. He took a seat and looked around, really fascinated at the ambience of the shop.
Elizabeth arrived shortly, carrying a tray with a pot of tea, set of cups and a plate of cookies with it. She puts them down on the table and starts to serve the tea. "I can get my own.." Chenle politely, said but the woman refused.
"It's okay, Chenle.. I can handle this.." she smiled. The smaller took a sip of the tea and was amazed on how it tasted. "That's the signature drink of this shop.. We always serve them when there are visitors around.. Try the cookies.." Elizabeth offered.
Chenle took a whole piece of cookie, grabbed a bite and smiled afterwards. "This is so good, Mrs. Elizabeth.." he compliments her, making the old woman really happy. "Oh please, Chenle.. You can call me Lola.." (Filipino term for grandmother)
"Thank you for this wonderful refreshments, Lola.." Chenle said. The woman smiled and reached for the smaller's face, caressing it gently. "I should be the one to thank you, Chenle.." she greets, making the boy curious.
"Because you took the time to visit here, I am always alone here, so it feels great to have company.." she grins.
"Can I ask something, Lola?" The woman smiled at her. "What's the meaning of the name of your shop?" he asked. She sipped on her tea and looks at the boy. "Song of Your Fate? I guess I just believed that your own fate is like a song.. It has a message where we can learn from.."
Chenle just nods. "It's just that our life can be told by a song.. And of course, our shop is not just an antique shop.. I am a fortune teller too.." she said proudly, making Chenle amazed.
"That is amazing, Lola.. Can you look at my fate too?" he asked, making the woman grabs his hand and looks at it, before looking at Chenle. "You're full of positivity and gentleness, Chenle.. You can always be a fluff of sunshine to someone.."
The smaller felt good on what he had heard. "But beware, others can be jealous on the light that you bear, and it can lead to trouble.. But don't worry, whatever happens, trust the love in your heart, and everything will be fine.." she grins at him.
"That was amazing, Lola.." he cheered. He looked at the window and saw the sun setting. "I need to go now, Lola.. Thank you! I'll make sure that I can drop by soon!" The woman smiles at her. "You can take some cookies on your way home.."
After giving the cookies that she packed, she hands it over to Chenle. "Thank you for this, Lola.." He was about to leave when the woman called her. "Can I hug you?" she asked. Chenle didn't think twice and hugs the woman.
He was quite startled when Elizabeth pulled away and leans on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. She pulled away again and smiled at him. "See you soon, Chenle.." The smaller walks away, while Elizabeth watches him from the shop.
While watching Chenle walking away, tears starts to flow from her eyes. "I've missed you.. Thank you for visiting me, Queenie.." she smiled.
After eating his dinner and taking a warm bath, he immediately flops on the bed and waits for Jisung's call. After a minute, he smiled when he heard his phone rang. He answered it and smiled at Jisung to the screen.
"Hello, Jisungie.." he greets. As seen at the video, Jisung is also on his bed, looks tired while smiling at the smaller. "Hello, Lele.. I miss you.. How was your day?"
"It was good, Sungie.. I miss you too.." he shyly replied. "That's good.. By the way, Lele, I need to tell you something important after this one month seminar, when we return back.." he said with a stutter. "About what, Sungie?"
Jisung blushes a little bit. "Something important.. It needs to be personal.. Please wait for me, okay?" he asked. "Okay.." Chenle smiled. And the two continued to chat until both of them fell asleep.
Meanwhile, Mirae is on her bedroom, feeling pissed, while scrolling through her phone. Her eyes widened with surprised when she stumbled a picture and video from his friend who had his birthday celebrated.
The owner of the account must have posting the pics and videos late. At the video, you can see that it was party, and the most intriguing scene is that it shows that they had rented a stripper.
The cake props opened, revealing the stripper who dances sexily, which made her really shocked. "Chenle?!" Then, the video shows on how Jisung came to him and kissed him.
Everything is processing on Mirae's mind. "So, Chenle is a stripper? And based on the video, he just seduced Jisung?" she thought.
Then, a devilish smirk appeared on her face. "Your happy days are over, Kim Chenle.."
