Chenle was sleeping soundly on Jisung's arms, the taller keeps on rubbing his back to calm him. It was effective, though, since Chenle's grip on his body starts to loosen up. He took the chance and slowly untangled the smaller's arms on him.
He softly stood up from the bed, wanting to be sure that the smaller won't wake up. He arranged the blanket and puts it over to the smaller. He smiled, looking at Chenle, who was peacefully asleep.
"Such a baby.." he whispered before walking out silently from the bedroom. When he got out, he saw Taeyeon, waiting for him at the kitchen. When the woman saw him, she immediately signalled him to come.
"Come on now, Jisung.. I prepared some ramen and kimchi pancakes.." she smiled. He wants to drool on the spot, seeing the food, still steaming hot. Even though he and Chenle had eaten at Kun's place, he decided to grab a bite.
Sipping at the broth of the ramen, his eyes widened. "This is so delicious!" Taeyeon smiled at his praise. "I am happy that you liked it.." Jisung started to eat the kimchi pancake as well. "This is also delicious, Mrs. Kim.."
"You're praising me too much!" she shyly replied. "By the way, Mrs. Kim.. I'm sorry if Chenle got so tired this day.. I really don't know that he can literally fall asleep, anywhere.."
The woman holds his hand, assuring him. "It looks like he had really fun today.." Jisung nods. "Yes, Mrs. Kim.. My friend who owns a flower shop at the town, hired Chenle and he was really happy.."
Taeyeon is not answering. Jisung noticed that the woman is crying, he got instantly worried. "Are you alright, Mrs. Kim?" She held up her head and nods, while wiping her tears. "Sorry for being so emotional, Jisung.."
She wipes her tears again before answering again. "I am just really happy that Chenle can now experience these kind of things.. Thank you for helping and looking out for him, Jisung.."
And the taller felt really happy, seeing how Taeyeon trusts him for Chenle, and no one else.
It was a few moments before he gets to answer. "About what I said earlier, Mrs. Kim.. I want to be that someone who is always there for him.. A someone you can lean on in good or bad times.." he sincerely said to the woman.
"My Lele is still practically, a baby.. It was just a year after the transplant, almost all of the things outside are new on his sight.. That is why I am really thankful to someone like you who wants to stay on my baby's side.."
Jisung stood up and bowed politely to the woman. "I promise you, Mrs. Kim.." The scene was so serious, it looks like Jisung is trying to get permission in courting the smaller.
It was late at night when he decided to bid goodbye to the woman, and taking a quick peek at Chenle, who is soundly asleep. "Goodnight, Chenle.." he whispered.
While at the bus going home, he couldn't remove Chenle on his thoughts. He felt like he has purpose again in life. During the whole bus ride, he keeps on thinking something.
Ding! Lightbulb!
He smiled widely before pulling out his phone, and starts to make a list. He keeps on thinking really hard, while working on his list. After finishing it, he smiles while looking at it.
After he read it, he puts his phone again on his pocket. And because of that list, he wanted to achieve this specific goal with the smaller. "I want to show Chenle, how beautiful the world is.." he beams, while looking outside the window of the bus.
