"Sis?! Are you alright?!" Heechul rushes to his sister's side, whose face is now pale and shocked due to what had Chenle said. The smaller, on the other hand, was shocked too and goes to his mother to check on her.
"Mom? What happened? Are you okay?" Being too innocent, Chenle didn't understand on how his use of words affected them. Taeyeon went back to her senses and drank some water from the table. Then, she looks at her son with wary eyes.
"Lele.. What do you mean by sleeping with Jisung?" she asked calmly. She doesn't want to believe the weird scenarios that plays inside her mind when she heard what her son said earlier. Chenle looks at them, sighed before explaining what he really meant.
"Jisung and I are partners for a case study-something.. We chose to study about astronomy: stars, planets, space and everything that evolves around the topic.. There's this activity that we need to go stargazing overnight.. Eventually, we need to sleep together, right?" he explained thoroughly.
Heechul joins the conversation. "So you mean, like a sleepover?" Chenle points out his uncle and nods cheerfully. "Yes, Uncle! You're right! I didn't know the proper word for that since it's my first to do it.." he smiled.
Heechul looks at his sister. "You're just overeacting, sis.." Taeyeon released a deep sigh before responding. "I'm sorry, okay? I just thought the other meaning.. My bad.." Chenle looks at them innocently. "What other meaning, Mom?" he asked.
Heechul and Taeyeon looks at each other and signals something. "Nevermind about that, Lele.. You don't need to know it now.." Heechul said on him. Chenle just nods and agreed on them. "Oh.. Okay.." he shrugged.
"So, Mom? Are you allowing me to sleepover at Jisung's apartment?" Chenle asked. Taeyeon looks at him with questioning eyes. "And now, I am having second thoughts because of what you said earlier.."
She thought about it a lot before giving her decision. "I will allow you, Chenle.. But before that, I need to talk to Jisung first.."
And because of that, Jisung is now at Chenle's house, sitting on the sofa at the living room, with the two adults glaring at him. Jisung looks at them carefully and notices the deadly glares they are giving on him.
"Hmm? Excuse me?" he asked. "Did I do something wrong?" he said politely. Taeyeon realized that they are overeacting again. She gulped slowly before speaking. "I heard that you and Lele are partners for a project.." He nods on the statement.
"And I also heard that you two needs to stay up the whole night to watch stars, right?" Jisung nods again. Heechul rolled his eyes. "Sis.. It looks like we're interrogating him.. Then, he looks at Jisung straight in the eye.
"Look, Jisung.. We are allowing Chenle to have sleepover at your apartment, as long as you promise to take care of him.. And don't do anything that you'll regret, okay?" he glared at him. Jisung sits up straight and nods strongly.
"Yes, Heechul-hyung and Mrs. Kim! I promise to take care of him!" Heechul smiled. "Very well.. Now go to Chenle's room and please help him in packing.. It looks like he would bring some clothes that is good for a month.."
Jisung laughs and bowed in front of them, before going to Chenle's room. Taeyeon looks at Heechul. "I'm still worried.." Heechul rubs her back. "Don't worry.. I can tell that Jisung is a good guy.. Trust me.."
