It's been two days since Chenle was revived and is now at stable condition. Even though he's recovering, Taeyeon couldn't avoid in getting worried, since her son is still not waking up. The doctors, especially, Jaehyun, kept on checking his condition everyday.
"Dr. Jaehyun? Why is he still not waking up?" Taeyeon asked worriedly. The doctor smiled and looks at her dearly. "Mrs. Kim.. He's still recovering.. But his body is still adjusting with his heart, after what happened to him.. His body probably needs more rest, so don't worry, he'll wake up soon.." he assured.
Jisung, on the other hand, had stayed by his side the whole time, watching him over carefully. When his parents knew what happened to Chenle, they immediately went to check on him and offered to provide some financial assistance or any other help that they would need.
"Thanks for offering, Sooyoung.. But someone is taking care of it already.." she smiled. "Thank goodness.. I'm glad that Chenle had overcome this.. He's a bright and brave kid.." Sooyoung said. That statement made Taeyeon cried. "Are you alright?" Sooyoung asked.
Taeyeon shakes his head. "I'm just happy for the all the love that my son has getting through this tough time.." she wiped her tears. Sooyoung smiled and hugged her. "Your son is an angel and he deserves all the love that he gets.."
Taeyeon nods. "I just want to thank you for Jisung too.. He didn't leave his side from the start and watches over him fondly.." Sooyoung looks at his son who is now sitting beside Chenle's bed, caressing the smaller's hair.
"Can I talk to Jisung for a moment?" she asked. "Of course.." she smiled. Sooyoung called her son so that they can talk outside. Jisung looks at her guiltily, feeling bad that he left his seminar at Japan. He looked down and starts to talk.
"Mom.. I'm really sorry for suddenly leaving Japan.. Chenle needs me and I want to be there for him in every single step of the way-" Sooyoung tilted his head up. "I'm not angry, Jisung.. I just want you to know that I am very proud of you.. That was a brave thing you did there.. And I don't care if you have left that seminar, there's always next year for that.."
Jisung starts to tear up, before hugging his mother really tight. "Does that mean it's okay if I stay here?" he mumbles. "Of course.. I'll contact the organizers of the seminar to talk to them.. You can stay on Chenle's side.." she smiled, hugging her son really tight.
On the third night, Chenle is still unconscious. Jisung is still there on his side, watching over him, waiting for him to wake up. Taeyeon had arrived, she went home earlier that day to freshen up and to get some things that Chenle may need.
"Oh Jisung.. You're still here? Did you have dinner already?" she asked worriedly. Jisung smiled at her. "Yes, Mrs. Kim.. Chairman Henry had brought some packed dinner for me.. He also distributed some food packs to the doctors and staffs.."
"Aigoo..." Taeyeon sighed. "He's so happy that he found his long, lost nephew.. I don't know how to tell Chenle all of this things.. Would he be shocked? Would he get angry at me because I kept this things hidden from him?"
"Chenle would understand you, Mrs. Kim.. He has the biggest heart and will completely understand you.." he smiled. Taeyeon smiled back. "Why don't you go home first and take some rest, Jisung.. You can come back tomorrow.."
Jisung thought he needs some rest, too. So he agreed and bids goodbye to sleeping Chenle, and bows politely in front of Taeyeon.
It was morning when Taeyeon realized that she had fell asleep beside Chenle's bed. She opened her eyes slowly, and felt a little ticklish, because of the small hand that caresses her hair.
When she realized that it was not her own hand, she quickly jolted up and saw that Chenle is awake, smiling at him. "I missed you, Mom.." she smiled. Tears starts to form on her eyes, before hugging his son. "Lele.. You're awake!" she cheered.
After pulling away, she peppered her son's face with soft kisses, making the smaller giggle. She immediately contacted others to inform them that Chenle is awake already.
Jisung, on the other hand, immediately went to the hospital when he heard the news that Chenle had woken up. He didn't know why, but he felt excited and nervous to see the smaller.
Finally, after running really fast, he had reached his room and saw Chenle, alive and cheerful, laughing with his mother and uncle. Taeyeon noticed his presence and looks at him before looking back at his son.
She had signalled Chenle to look at the door, and when he looked up, his face became really bright, seeing Jisung. "We'll just go outside.." Taeyeon smiled before pulling Heechul to leave the room.
Jisung is still standing near the door, still staring at him, can't believed that Chenle is awake already. Chenle smiled brightly before calling his name.
"Sungie.." he said softly and fondly. Jisung couldn't control the tears as he ran towards Chenle and cried on his lap. The smaller looks at him fondly, while he buried his face on Chenle's lap, crying.
"I thought you're gonna leave me.." Jisung cried out. Chenle caresses his hair softly with his hands. "I'm not going anywhere.." he smiled.
