Chenle quickly jolted up from the bed, waking up, still not aware of his surroundings. After he dozed off and stares at the wall for a minute, he realized he was on his own bedroom. "Thank goodness.." he sighed.
He tried to remember what happened last night. He recalled that he was on a bus going home, then was shocked when Jisung made his way inside to the bus, just to accompany him in going home.
And that's it. He couldn't remember what happened next. He scratches his head, trying hard to remember everything. He was about to rub his eyes when he realized that he was still wearing his lenses.
Then it him. He completely fell asleep with his lenses still on his eyes. "Oh my gosh!" he stood up from the bed, goes to the bathroom mirror, and checks if he can still remove them. Fortunately, he still can.
After removing the lenses, he takes a peek at the mirror again. "I thought I was doomed.." He was about to leave the bathroom when he noticed something unusual on his eyes.
It was still color brown.
He checked and verified that he was holding the lenses on his hands. He was definitely freaked out. The blue color on his eyes faded away and became brown, the same color with his lenses.
"AAAAHHHHH!" he shrieked loudly, making Taeyeon runs to his room. "Lele! I heard you scream! What is happening?" she looks around the room. Chenle goes to her with a shocked facw. "You won't believe what just happened, Mom.. My blue eyes turns to a natural brown color.."
The woman immediately checked his eyes, and gasped. "Woah.. What happened? Do you feel something in your eyes?" Chenle shakes his head. "I can see you well, Mom.."
"That means, it hasn't affected your sight, so that's a good news.. We can go to the hospital later so we can check what exactly happened on your eyes.. But if it is completely normal, that's good since you don't have to wear lenses anymore.." she smiled.
Chenle nods and realized the convenience if he didn't need to wear lenses anymore. He decided to ask his mother what happened last night.
"By the way, Mom.. How did I get in here? I really couldn't remember what happened last night.. How did I get in here?"
Taeyeon smiles, answers the question cheerfully. "It was simple.. Jisung carried you from the bus, up to this room.."
However, Chenle shrieked again. "Jisung carried me?! It was embarassing!" Taeyeon pushed him to go to his closet. "No, it's not.. Now please, get dressed and were going to the hospital to get your eyes check, hmm?"
Chenle didn't protested and just followed his mother's instructions, still feeling flustered.
Jisung woke up early, took a shower and fixes himself. They don't have classes today, but he was excited because it is Chenle's first day of work, and he would accompany the boy.
He immediately went downstairs, big smile plastered on his face. "Good Morning, Mom!" he greeted Sooyoung, who was busy making waffles and sausages. "Good Morning, Jisung.. You look happy today!" she greeted.
"It's nothing.. I just feel happy and light today.." he smiled. Sooyoung puts a plate of waffles and sausages in front of the taller. "You don't have classes today, right? Why are you dressed up?"
Jisung took a bite of the sausage before answering. "I'll accompany a friend to Kun hyung's store.. He's gonna work there.." Sooyoung looks at him with a smirk on her face. "And who's this friend of yours?"
The taller smiled fondly. "His name is Chenle.." His mother had a teasing reaction on her face. "Oohh.. Chenle, I see.. Bring him home for dinner sometime, okay?" Jisung nods happily. "Of course, Mom.."
Sooyoung was happy, to see his son back on his usual self. And also, takes a note to ask Renjun about the boy Jisung is mentioning.
