My Little Sister: Habit

My little sister comes over to spend some time with me since my parents are going out of town for the weekend. I am nervous, to say the least. I live with three (technically four) guys, Evan, Jeff, and Vinny. And of course, Habit.

Thing is ... Habit being around an eleven year old girl is not ideal for anyone. Especially when that is his girlfriend's little sister who he's never met.

When Evelyn comes over with me, I'm so happy to see her. The last time I saw Evelyn, it was after my mom had called me a whore and thrown me out. I don't know why she did, I was a virgin at the time and had no significant other.

She just turned spiteful and mean towards me for some reason. I never knew why.

Evelyn bounds out of the car and up to me, and we hug each other. She's giggling and crying at the same time. I beam at her and wipe away the tears.

I smile at her and bring her in the house, then introduce her to the guys.

As the day goes on, I keep an eye on Evan, worried about Habit. And when he turns into Habit, I'm stunned  -  he's nice to her. And I don't mean he's just cordial, he's funny and sweet.

"I think you are a princess," Habit says to Evelyn.

I never thought I'd hear him say something like that.

"Who wants to be a princess when you could be a queen?"

I grin. That's just like Evelyn. She and Habit play hide-and-seek with one another and everything.

When the time comes to say goodbye to Evelyn again, Habit turns to me. He looks different than usual. A little bit off or something.

"Don't worry, nothing bad's gonna happen at my hands to you or your sister. But I can't say the same to these fucking idiots you live with."

Then he stalks off.
