Saving the Girl: Habit (TRIGGER WARNING)

Habit kidnapped me. I don't know why, but he took me from my family a long time ago and brought me to a cabin in the woods. And now, he is gone for a while, and so I decide that I'm going to get away from him, going to a place where he cannot.

I am going to end it. I am going to get as far away from Habit as possible.

I don't want to do this. But at this point, it's more of what has to be done. And in order for me to be able to do this, I just needed to be alone.

So I write a note for my family, if they ever find it. Then I leave, running into the woods surrounding the cabin. I run and run until I can't go anymore. Then, I fall down to my knees and cry.

As I'm sitting on the ground, crying my eyes out, I hear a voice calling my name. For a brief moment, I wonder if it is just in my head. But then Habit appears.

"Y/n," he says, his voice sad. "I read your note ... "

"You fucking bastard!" I scream, lunging at him. He catches me before I can hit him. "Let me go! You asshole!"

"Y/ n, calm down. It's okay, I promise you. You don't have to go anywhere, if you really want to go back home, you can. I will take you back."

"Why did you bring me here?!" I scream.

"Because I love you, okay?" he says.

I look at him, through the blurry vision I see tears in his eyes. He doesn't look into my eyes, he just looks down.

"I love you," he says quietly.

My heart breaks. "Habit .... I didn't know."

"Yeah, I know," he says. "I'll take you home on one condition."

My heart leaps. "What?"

"You promise that you will never hurt yourself," he says.

I wipe my eyes. "But you won't be happy without me."

"I'll make do," he says.

"I'll agree on one condition."

"Okay."

"You promise to visit."

He hugs me then. "Of course."

Then, Habit takes me home.
