Do you know that feeling when you have that major crush on someone and you just wanted to be with them? But you can't because you're an awkward human being.

Days after days, I'm just staring at him on class. I always sit behind him, sometimes I lean forward to snell his hair but not in a obvious way.

"Hey. Can I borrow a pencil?" I leaned behind him
"Uhm lemme see if I have an extra." He search his bag.

"I don't have an extra but you can have mine." He gave me a pencil with a chewed eraser.
"Thanks a lot." I said, sniffing his scent, one last time.

I had a major crush on him that I started going to scent shop with my bestfriend to look for his perfume.

"Why are you so obsessed with him?"
"Like girl can you not?"

She snapped at me while I spray the perfumes in thin air one by one and smelling it.

"I just love his smell, that's all." I explained.
"Why don't you look for something that will make you smell good, to make him fall inlove with you." My bestfriend explained.

I agreed with her suggestion. This major crush is slowly getting out of hand, I can feel it. I just want a little "hi" from him on the hallway.

"He cute but gurl to make your efforts like this." She said while I carry shopping bags of skincare, clothes and many things that could help me look good.

My mission was make him notice me but nothing, not even a glance. I was sitting behind him, as always when a guy sat beside me.

His name was Damien, he is usually quiet but whenever he speaks, it's always a joke or a mockery out of everything he will notice.

"I love your new hairstyle." Damien said to me.
"Thanks." I smiled at him.

I suddenly looked at my bestfriend who just gave me a wink. I looked at her weirdly.

Days passed and I am nowhere near from my goal. But something weird is happening, Damien is always sitting beside me or casually talking to me and always complimenting me; things Miggy never did.

"My plan isn't working." I took my books out of my locker.
"Make him jealous." She said
"I don't even know if he likes me."
"And that's how you will know, use your brain sometimes."
"Okay but I don't have any guy friends that's just going to agree with that insane idea."

"Uhmm Damien?"

I just rolled my eyes at her.

Desperate to be notice, I made Damien as a bait. He eventually agreed on my idea, he said 'yes' immediately. It means that he is bored or something.

"So the rule is simple, we'd only do the PDA whenever Miggy is around." I explained
"What are we going to do? Hold hands? Hands in the back pocket Sixteen Candles' style?" He asked me.
"Maybe. Something that would sell it out. I don't know, I've never been in a relationship."

"Well that's sad" he squinted his eyes giving me a pity look.
"Don't tell me you had one." Because that would totally surprise me, the guy is funny but too silent to function properly on a relationship.

At lunch, we would sit beside each other with our other friends.

His friends are mine too and vice versa and they have no clue about our plan except my bestfriend.

When I saw Miggy looking directly at us, I grab Damien's hand, he immediately reacted and held it casually.

"Aww you guys are so sweet." Sarah, one of my friends said
"I want someone too." She added
