vacay.

"Y/n's boyfriend is here" my younger sister announced as we walked inside the house.
"boyfriend?" my mom raised a question, I can still hear her while she's in the kitchen.

"Mom. Damien and I are going to my room." I announced.
"ahh boyfriend."

Our family likes to joke about Damien and I, they think we have a relationship. Well, they are right. They teased us but what they know is we're just bestfriends and we don't want to ruin the moment with them. It would be a lot pressure for us if the know we just want to stay low. My younger, Jesse is the only person in our family who knew about our relationship yet no one believed when she announced it.

Damien is our neighbor and his parents is a long-time friend of our parents, way back in college. And they've been pretty much shipping us since we got out of our mothers' womb. Congrats to them, it's a dream come true. We started dating when we were in sophomore and now we're seniors.

I laid on my bed and so did Damien. He cuddled up with me.

"what's your plan for the week preparation?" I asked
"spend my time with you before we go to college." he answered, his eyes were closed.

The sound of the door opening made me pushed Damien out of the bed.

I thought it was one of my parents but I saw Jesse grinning, "jesus christ Jesse, learn how to knock."

"ow." Damien groaned while holding his hip.
"I'm so sorry Damien." I helped him get up.

"why? what are you doing?" she teased.

"you guys are not having sex, are you?" she added

We were shocked by what she said.

"what's wrong with your sister?" Damien turned to me.

"Dinner's ready. And I'm gonna tell mom and dad." she ran downstairs.

"are you okay?" I asked Damien
"no." he answered
"lemme get some ice pack." I said

He grabbed my hand, " no"

"then what?"
"I need a kiss."
"yeah sure buddy. that can heal you." I joked

We went downstairs with glares from my family.

"is there a problem?" I asked
"Damien. Why won't you join us." my dad said

He can't say no to my dad 'cause he's scared. I don't know why all of a sudden he will freeze when my dad is near. Earlier this year, they were super close. They went to baseball games and play basketball.

Damien sat beside me, his hands were clearly shaking under the table. I gave it a little press and let go.

"So. As you know your graduation is coming by. And for the week of prepartion, the Haas family and our family decided to celebrate at the Bahamas." my mom said as she was passing the roasted chicken.

"Bahamas? That's for like old couple." Jesse exclaimed.
"perfect for these two." she added, pointing to us. 

We all glared at her, "because they are certainly AN old couple."

"was it junior year or sopho--"

I stepped on her foot and smiled like nothing happened.

"ow."
"what was that for? she stepped on my foot." she ranted but I just kept on smiling like I'm a sweet angel.

"Stop teasing your sister, Jesse" my dad scolded and she stopped yapping and rolled her eyes.

"As I was saying. We will leave tomorrow and you should pack your bags after dinner." my mom said.
