Sirius POV:

Ugh! Finally, the History lesson is over! It was just dragging on. I exited the block in order to get to Maths on time. As I was walking, I tripped on air, as always, and fell down, face to the ground. As the shock wears away, embarrassment takes its place. I struggle to get up with a school bag on my shoulders like seriously, why do the books have to be so heavy!?!?!?! Suddenly, I see a hand in front of my face, and a voice to accompany it that says, "Are you alright? Did you get hurt? Come on."

I take the hand, still too embarrassed to look up at the person's face. I get up and then look at his face, before thanking him and trying to set my clothes straight.

He seemed to be older to me, probably a grade above me. He is so pretty, I almost forgot that he just saw me trip on air. "Are you alright? Does it hurt?", he asks. I am about to respond with the generic I am fine, when I realize that I am not. My left knee hurts like hell, it seems like its swollen, while my left elbow is scratched and has blood on it.

"Oh, you are obviously not alright, my bad. Lils, could you go ahead and tell Sir that I will be late to class?", he says, talking to his friend who I just noticed was there that whole time. Great, I think, I fell for another straight guy.

I didn't want to disturb him anymore, so I pull my hand from him, his face getting sad, and say, "No, it's fine. I don't want to disturb you guys anymore. Thanks for the help."

"Oh no, you are not a disturbance, I want to help. Plus, I am a prefect, so let me do my job. Lily, please go to class before you are late as well." The girl nodded before heading to her class.

"Now come on, let's get you to the nurse's office." He takes my hand and I don't pull away this time. "So, what's your name?", he asks, probably in an attempt to break the silence.

"Sirius, Sirius Black. What about you?"

"Remus Lupin at your service, sir," he says, bowing his head, causing me to break into a fit of laughter.

"Which grade?", I ask.

"Grade 11, you?"

"Grade 10."

He stops, looks at me and says, "If you are in Grade 10, how in the world did you trip on air!?!"

I am smiling so much my cheeks are hurting, I say, "Cause I am a very clumsy person. You should ask my friends."

"Well, be careful because you could seriously harm yourself," Remus says, really concerned.

"Well, I try."

"Okay, where did you get hurt exactly?", he asks me when we have nearly reached the office. I tell him where it hurts and he nods his head, before opening the door to the office and motioning for me to enter.

I do and he follows behind me. "What happened here?", the nurse asks.

"He tripped and fell," Remus answers before I can say it. "Okay, sit down here," she instructs me, pointing to the bed, and I do that. "Where does it hurt?", she asks, and I tell her. She cleans that wound on my elbow and puts an ointment on my knee.

"This should help the swelling stop," the nurse says. "Be careful with that knee, it will hurt for 2 to 3 days. And here is the note to give to your teachers, now off you go!"

Remus and I leave her office after thanking her, my knee still throbbing, our hand still intertwined together. We talked all the way back to my Maths class because he insisted on dropping me. As we reached, my heart dropped at the thought that I probably won't see him again. But then he said this.
