A/N: This idea was given by animal10101.

James POV:

"Evans! Could you give me the answer to number 5 of charms?", I ask the red-headed girl sitting a few feet away from me. Ah, she was so amazing in every way.

"No, Potter, do your own homework," Lily replies.

"Pretty please!"

"Nope, not going to happen."

"Argh! I'm never going to finish this," I say with frustration. That is when I feel someone tap me on my shoulder. I turn around to meet my fellow Marauder (and favorite werewolf), Remus. He has a concerned look on his face when he says, "James, can you come with me for a second?"

I nod and get up, following him out of the Gryffindor common room. Once we are alone outside, he turns to me with a serious face as he says, "Sirius is still being abused at home."

This information took me by surprise. We knew Sirius was abused at home for being in Gryffindor, we even saw bruises on him until the start of 4th year (which was last year). Remus and I had asked him how there were no bruises or injuries on him and Sirius had said that his parents had stopped abusing him.

Remus and I didn't think that was true but there was no evidence that it wasn't true.

Until now.

"What? How do you know?", I ask Remus.

"He was wearing one of my baggy sweaters and I noticed a lot of cuts and light bruises on his shoulders and chest. They looked so painful but Sirius didn't seem to notice them. I think he used the glamour spell to cover them up but forgot to do it today. He probably did the same thing last year as well so we wouldn't notice," Remus explains, concern audible in his voice.

"Those injuries must be so deep and painful if they are still really visible halfway through this school year," I say, wanting to run to Sirius and comfort him. He is my best friend, like an actual brother and I want to help in any way I can.

"I-, I don't know what to do, Prongs. He is my boyfriend and I love him but-, I feel so useless," Remus says while trying to wipe the tears that keep coming to his eyes.

"No, No, Moony. Hey, you are not useless, you are great to have paid enough attention to Sirius to notice those injuries that no one else has. Don't worry, we will find a way to help him or make him feel better," I say, hugging him.

That is the moment that Sirius walks through the door, on his way out of the Gryffindor dorms.

"Hey Padfoot," I say.

"Heya Prongs," Sirius replies.

"Where are you going?", Remus asks him.

"To the black lake. I want some peace and quiet, I want to be alone for a while," Sirius answers.

I know Remus wants to protest but he doesn't. "Okay sure, see ya later," I reply. Sirius nods and waves goodbye, making his way down the stairs before they move again.

As he disappears from view, an idea forms in my head.

"Moony, I think I have the perfect idea to make Sirius feel better," I tell Remus.

"Really? That's amazing," Remus replies, a smile on his face.

"I need a few more people for this plan though," I add as we walk into the Gryffindor common room. "And I think I found them all."

In front of us, there were three people. Lily was on a couch, doing her Charms homework (I so desperately need help with that). Marlene and Dorcas were on a separate couch, their books in front of them but their attention on each other.
