Confessions

A/N: This one is my idea.

3rd Person POV:

Remus and Sirius are laying in Remus' bed in Hogwarts. They were in their fifth year, with OWl's creeping upon them. Remus was asleep, a book beside him as he was reading a book before he fell asleep. Sirius was busy admiring the beauty next to him. 

Oh, how much Sirius wanted to kiss him.

You see, Sirius might have a tiny, little, big crush on the werewolf who happened to also be one of his best friends. He hasn't told anyone about this except James.

"You are so pretty," Sirius sighs, looking at Remus. "Your intelligence is unmatched and no matter what life throws at you, you get back up stronger than ever. I wish you would realize how priceless you are. I like you so much, but I will obviously never tell you that because you probably don't feel the same. And I don't want to lose you, ever."

That is when James bursts into the dorm, looking for them. 

"Sirius! There you are. Is Remus with you?"

"Yeah, but he is asleep, so keep it down, will you? You know he needs the sleep."

"Oh yeah, sorry," James says sheepishly. 

"What did you want?", Sirius asks.

"Right. Lily agreed to come on a date with me!", James exclaims. 

Shocked, Sirius says, "What?!? No way! Is she alright? You are lying Prongs."

"I'm not! You can ask her yourself," James says. Sirius gets off the bed and follows James down to the common room.

As the door closes, Remus' eyes spring open.

Remus POV:

As soon as I hear the door shut close, I open my eyes, trying to process what I just heard. 

I wasn't really asleep when I stopped reading my book, I just wanted to rest my eyes. I guess it looked like I was sleeping. But what I heard can't have been true. Sirius couldn't have said he likes me, that is impossible. I must have hallucinated or dreamt it. 

Yeah, that's the only logical explanation, right?

[Time Skip - Next day, Lunch]

3rd Person POV:

Right now, the Marauders were seated in their table in the Great Hall, joking around and eating. Lily was sitting a few seats down from them with her friends. Sirius was sitting next to Remus, with Peter and James sitting opposite them.

Sirius doesn't think Remus heard him yesterday, which is a relief for him because he doesn't know how Remus would react if he had heard him confessing his crush.

Just as Sirius said a joke that made the three laugh their heads off, Remus' face bright with a smile, a girl from the Hufflepuff table came over to me. 

"Hey Sirius," she said, twirling her hair around her finger.

"Hi Elena," Sirius replied. Immediately, the four boys knew what was happening. She wanted to ask Sirius on a date, obviously.

"I was wondering if you would like to come on a date with me tomorrow?"

Remus' face fell when he heard those words. Obviously, Sirius would say yes because Elena is better than him. Obviously, Remus dreamt what he thought he heard yesterday. How could he be so stupid?

While Remus was cursing himself, Sirius was clueless on what to do. He didn't want to go on a date with Elena, he would much rather spend the day with Remus, even if it is just as friends.
