3rd Person POV:
It's common knowledge around Hogwarts that Sirius' greatest treasure is his hair. Or his "luscious mane", as he calls it ("Gryffindor, lion, mane, get it?" "I do and it's stupid." "No, it's not, shut up James.").
What a lot of people don't know is that there is only one person in the whole world that can ever touch Sirius' hair. That special person is Remus Lupin, fellow marauder and Sirius' boyfriend of six months.
Remus is the one who combs Sirius' hair when he comes out of the shower, to ensure that there are no tangles in it because h knows how much Sirius hate that. Remus is the one who trims Sirius' hair to get rid of split ends, no matter how much Sirius protests (he loves it in the end anyway).
One day, the couple were sitting alone, down in the common room. Remus was on the couch while Sirius was sitting on the floor, facing Remus.
They were talking and laughing and kissing, having the time of their lives. They didn't have exams now and the Christmas break was coming up. Sirius' hands were combing his won hair when Remus got an idea.
"Hey, Siri, can you turn around for a minute?"
Confused, Sirius asks, "Why?"
"I want to try something. Please!", Remus says. Sirius sighs and turns around to face the fireplace, his back to Remus.
Remus reaches down and holds Sirius's hair in his hands. He starts making a fancy french braid in his hair, having fun.
"All done!", Remus exclaims a minute later.
"Really? What did you do?", Sirius asks.
Remus transfigures a nearby piece of paper into a mirror for Sirius to use. Sirius looks at his reflection and exclaims in delight.
"Oh my god, it's wonderful! How did you do that?"
Remus smiles, glad that Sirius doesn't hate it, and says, "Lily taught it to me a while back. I finally got to try it today."
Sirius turns around to face Remus and kisses him. "I love it. Thanks, Rem."
"No problem," Remus says. "Let's go upstairs, we need to sleep."
Sirius gets up and follows Remus up to stairs into their dorm. Soon they both are fast asleep in their beds, smiles on their faces.
***
The next day, since morning, Sirius goes around showing his braided hair to everyone. He tells everyone that his boyfriend, Remus, braided hair. Sirius smiles proudly every time he tells someone about, or if someone compliments him. Remus can't help but be happy every time Sirius does it.
It is very obvious to everyone that Sirius loves that braid in his hair. He loves it so much that he refuses to wash his hair and remove it.
It's been a week since Remus braided Sirius' hair and he still hasn't washed his hair. Remus gets concerned about Sirius because he usually takes very good care of his hair.
That is when Sirius enters their dorm and Remus decides to ask him about it.
"Hey Sirius, can I ask you a question?", Remus asks.
"Yeah, go ahead," Sirius replies, sitting on Remus' bed.
"I noticed that you haven't washed or combed your hair in a while. Why is that?"
"Oh, uh... it's a stupid reason," Sirius says.
"You can tell me, you know?"
"Yeah, I know. Ok fine, the reason I haven't done anything to my hair is because I love the braid you made. I don't want to remove or ruin it."
Remus smiles and says, "I didn't realize you would like it so much. I can always do it again, Sirius."
Sirius lifts his head up and looks at Remus in excitement. "Really? So that was not a one-time thing?"
"Not at all!", Remus laughs.
"Perfect! Thanks, love," Sirius says, hugging Remus.
"No problem. Now go wash your hair, it stinks."
"Hey!", Sirius exclaims and they both burst out laughing.
A/N: Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed it.
