"Mr. Hummel! Mr. Hummel!" one reporter called over the others. "Is it true there's a special someone in your life?"

Kurt tried to hide his irritation. "No comment."

"Mr. Hummel! Is it true you have a girlfriend?"

"I already told you. No comment," he said through gritted teeth. He kept getting questions about his love and sex life, and it felt invasive and weird. And it was always the same reporters.

"Mr. Hummel, Mr. Hummel, where's the weirdest place you've ever done it?"

He could hardly believe that they had just asked him that. "That's an entirely inappropriate question."

-

"Mr. Hummel, did you hear?"

He glanced up at the worried man. "No, what happened?"

"Minutes after you left the press meeting the other day, several reporters were shot. Look." He showed Kurt the news article headline. "They didn't catch the guy that did it. They think he's after you."

Kurt's mouth went dry as he saw the names. "Those are all the reporters that were asking me invasive questions, the ones that irritated me."

"Really?" he looked at the article curiously.

He swallowed nervously. "Alex, did they say the man had a red baseball cap? He was wearing wire-rimmed glasses? His hair was dark, his skin was light? Brown, almost gold eyes?"

Alex had been reading the description as Kurt spoke, stunned. "That's exactly how they described him."

Kurt nodded, pale. "He's not after me."

"How do you know?"

"Tell them they're looking for Blaine Anderson."

"But- Mr. Hummel, how did you know?" the man called after him as he left.
