Chapter 19 - The Truth Untold

"Taehyung?! Is that you?"

"Yes hyung, hurry and come down, we've got news"

The two looked as they heard clatter in the bedroom and Hoseok cursing before he ran down the stairs, still pulling his sweater over his head. His hair was sticking up in some places and his face was full of concern.

"Everything okay?"

Taehyung supressed a little laugh at the sight of him, "Yes hyung, we got coffee and pastries, come sit down and we'll talk"

He made his way over the table and took a satisfying sip of his drink before facing the couple. They both looked at each other before taking a deep breath and looking back at Hoseok.

"I'm carrying hyung"

"Carrying what?"

"He's carrying a pup"

Hoseok stood up out of his seat and left the kitchen without saying a word. Taehyungs face flushed with confusion and he stood up to go after him but was pulled back down by Jungkook. Before Jungkook could say anything, Hoseok returned, smile wider than ever and tears brimming his face.

"You are growing up way too quick, come here and give me a hug Taebear"

Taehyungs own eyes filled with tears as the pair held each other tightly in a warm embrace. 10 minutes later, they had settled back into their seats.

"I'm so happy for you two, have you made any plans on officially moving in? Taehyung will need to start nesting before you know it. Obviously, school won't be an issue for him but you need to discuss these things"

"We haven't spoken about everything yet. I was thinking Taehyung moves in with me, my parents are hardly ever home and the house is practically mine anyway, they have another house in the city that they stay in. Money won't be a problem for me and I will be expected to get a job at my dad's company so I have no problem taking care of Taehyung"

"You've got it all figured out Jungkook! I'm proud and a little surprised"

"Thanks, hyung, we actually have something we'd like to ask you as well"

"You know you guys can ask me anything"

"We wanted to know if you would want to, move in with us? I don't want you here on your own anymore and you've done so much for me that I just want and need you nearby"

Hoseok was on the verge of tears again when he heard Taehyungs words. He smiled before taking one of their hands in his own.

"I would want nothing more, you two know that you don't have to do this for me right?"

"We want to hyung and also, I asked my father about getting you job as a scientist in one of his labs. You're the reason I am happy now, you saved Taehyung. I have to return the favour for your kind nature"

Hoseok jumped over the table and pulled Jungkook into a tight hug. "You are such a sweet boy Jungkook, thank you so much. Look at you two making me all emotional"

Taehyungs tears were spilling again as they all laughed and hugged each other. They settled back down into their seats and discussed the future before they heard a knock on the door. Jungkook went to answer, insisting Taehyung rests and let his friends into the house.

"What's so urgent that we had to be here right away?" Yoongi asked.

"We have news to tell you all and we won't keep you long especially with Namjoon hyungs *cough* condition" Jungkook mumbled the last bit, ignoring a blushing Jin staring at the floor.
