Chapter 21 - Hope World

"Mr Jeon, you can see him now".

Jungkook walked into the room slowly, his heart almost stopped when he saw the tubes linked to Taehyungs arms. He was lying on the bed, his eyes half open as he smiled weakly at Jungkook.

"How you feeling baby?", he asked as he took a seat next to Taehyung and held his hand.

"My cramps are gone but I still feel tired", he spoke with a raspy voice.

"The doctor said you'll have to stay here for a while so you're back to full health"

"Did he say what happened?"

"Someone tried to hurt our baby, but I'm going to make sure they pay for this Tae. I promised to protect you and I will"

Taehyung just nodded as the others walked into the room. Hoseok went to speak with Jungkook privately as the other 4 made their way to Taehyung to check on him.

"Jungkook", he whispered from behind the curtain, "someone tried to hurt Tae, you need to make sure to get the person responsible for this"

"I will hyung, I'm going to fire that maid today"

"But Jung- "

"It's okay hyung, I will protect Taehyung, I made him a promise and have no intention of breaking it".

Hoseok just nodded his head but he knew there was more to this. There was no way a simple maid could have pulled all of this off. He quickly took out his phone to call Bogum before going to check on Taehyung.

"How you doing Taebear?"

"I'm okay hyung, sorry for worrying you"

"Hey, come on now, I worry about you all the time, this is no different", he smiled down at the chuckling boy.

"Everyone, we're going to have to let Taehyung rest now. You're more than welcome to wait but he will be up in a few hours", the doctor spoke.

Jimin and Jin offered to wait in the hospital as Jungkook stated he needed to go home and address the issue of the maid and Hoseok had something to do with Bogum. As soon as Jungkook got to the house, he stormed in to the living room where both his parents and the maid were. She was serving them tea when he burst through the door.

"Jungkook, what is going on? Where is Taehyung?", his mother asked.

"Ask that bitch over there!"

"Jungkook! Language!"

"Fuck my language, she's the reason Taehyung is in hospital now!"

"He's in hospital?"

"Yes, he's in hospital but you should know that Eunhwa. You've been giving him those pills so he has a miscarriage"

"M-master Jeon, I-I didn't know!"

"Who else would have fucking known?!", Jungkook had thrown the table over, hot tea landing on himself and the maid. His eyes were glowing a dark red and the veins on his arms becoming more prominent.

"Get out of this house, get out and do not ever come back. Consider yourself lucky that I'm going easy on you for hurting my mate".

Eunhwa ran out of the house, quickly closing the door behind her. Jungkook was still raging when he felt his mothers hand on his own.

"Jungkook dear, maybe you should explain what happened to us?"

Jungkook took a seat opposite his parents, shaking in anger, he started explaining the events leading up to Taehyung being hospitalized. Jungkooks mother was already crying but his father, he had a solemn expression on his face, not giving anything away as he listened to his son.
