A few days passed. Alex and I had barely talked. He looked as if he hadn’t slept in days.

Meanwhile, the bond between Jake and I had grown. I didn’t think he was creepy or anything, and due to Alex’s weird behavior, I had forgiven him for the incident on my first day.

I was currently walking the half mile to school, listening to Three Day’s Grace ‘World So Cold’ when Jake came up behind me. He slung an arm across my shoulders and dropped his weight on me.

“HEY!” I yelled, twisting out of his grip. He grinned at me. “Injured, remember?” I complained, waving my broken wrist in front of his face.

“Sorry.” He pouted. I shook my head and rolled my eyes at him.

“Whatever.”

“Whatever.” He repeated in a high pitched girly voice.

“I do not sound like that!” I protested, crossing my arms. He smirked and tugged me along.

“Yeah you do.” He muttered. I gaped at him and smacked his shoulder. He winced. I grinned.

We made it to school just on time that day. Jake led me to Mr. Long’s room, the whole time with his arm around my waist. For some odd reason, I let him. He was a nice guy, I began to realize. Not quite as bad as I thought. We walked into the classroom and he led me over to his group of friends in the back corner.

“Hey guys.” He greeted. I noticed the guy with the deep red hair from the first day in the office. He was staring at me curiously, another guy by his side. The second guy had blonde hair which was long and in his face.

“Blue, this is Matt,” he pointed to the guy with deep red hair and brown eyes. “Matt’s boyfriend James,” The blonde with green eyes. “Kyle,” He had deep black hair and brown eyes, “His girlfriend Emma,” A girl with white hair and stark blue eyes, “Jubilee,” A girl with caramel brown hair and brown eyes. “Her boyfriend Devin,” Devin smirked at me. He had deep red hair and jade green eyes. “Jub’s Twin Audrey,” who looked exactly like Jubilee, “Matt’s younger sister Crow,” A shy looking girl with black hair and pale blue eyes. She waved slightly at me. “Chase,” He had dirty blonde hair and grey eyes, with multiple piercings, the most prominent being snake bites. “And his girlfriend Annabelle,” The girl on Chase’s lap. She had Platinum blonde hair and hazel eyes, with a body to die for.

“Hi, I’m Blue.” I said to the group.

“We know that.” Jubilee scoffed, grinning, a playful look in her eyes.

I smiled.

Jake snatched my waist and pulled me down with him as he sat. I squealed in shock, and gave him a glare. Matt smirked at us.
