ALEX
Blue lay next to me, sleeping soundly, a peaceful look on her face. I smiled and pulled her closer. She turned in her sleep and curled her body against mine. I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist and pulled her closer. She smiled in her sleep.
Reinu jumped onto the bed and curled up behind Blue. The cat looked up at me with eyes the color of honey. She nestled her head against Blue’s neck, a sign of trust. I smiled. Reinu and Blue were the two most important females in my life.
Blue turned again. She curled into a ball, holding my hand against her stomach. Her eyes were closed and her lips were parted slightly. She was adorable.
Power surged beneath my hand. An electric shock ran the full length up my arm. I gasped as my vision blurred and I saw an image of a teenager with deep black hair and Blue’s mismatched eyes. He was smiling faintly, exposing the tips of small fangs. He had pale skin and was lean. Then, my vision returned. I looked down at Blue in shock.
Her body was so small I hadn’t thought her capable of pregnancy.
A/N this is really short, i know, but packed freaking full of new things. And i know, its not possible to be pregnant the morning after, but things work differently in the Vampiric world, and note that i didn't say Blue was pregnant yet. Alex had a vision of the future, meaning she's not pregnant- yet, but she will be eventually.
So just to clarify, she's not pregnant.
