ALEX
Tuesday morning was…pretty good… as far as Tuesdays went. I woke up next to Blue, who was still sleeping. I gently extricated myself from her embrace and gave her a quick kiss before sliding out of the bed and wandering into the bathroom. I took a quick shower and slid into today’s clothes before I woke Blue up. She moaned and rolled over, shielding her eyes from the light.
“Wake up, sleeping beauty.” I grinned at her. She groaned and rolled over again, her back to me. I rolled my eyes at her back and gently lifted her. She curled against my chest. I carried her into the bathroom and put her in the tub. Then, I turned the water on cold. She screamed bloody murder and shot up, glaring at me like I was the devil and she was Jesus. I smirked and walked out, ignoring her yelling at me. I dried and flat ironed my hair, put on a light line of black eyeliner, and straightened my clothes. I was just lacing up my vans when Blue came out of the bathroom, looking beautiful, but angry. She wore a Pierce the Veil shirt and a tattoo choker with her black skinnies showing off her legs. Her hair covered one eye and most of the other. She came up to me and slapped me.
“I deserved that.” I said, looking back at her. She huffed and grabbed her lace up converse. I finished with the last lace on my vans. She pulled her converse on and plopped one foot on my lap. I sighed and laced her boots up to her knee. When I was finished lacing her boot, she made me do the other one. I didn’t complain, though. I love this girl.
She crawled onto my lap and lightly kissed my jaw. I slid my arms around her slim waist.
“Sorry about that wake up call.” I said. She groaned.
“That was very rude.” She commented.
I snorted. “It woke you up, though.”
She glared at me. I cupped her chin and kissed her. She slid off my lap and walked downstairs. I followed her, carrying both of our backpacks. She grabbed two cherry pop tarts off of the counter and walked out. I waited until she was finished her breakfast to give her the backpack. She laced our fingers together as we walked. We eventually made it to the school. Bre and Andy were making out in the back of our first class. Crow was sitting and talking with Spencer. Jake was with his friends. Blue and I sat down in the back.
It was nearing the winter, but the weather was clear and almost like spring. I glanced at the open windows of the room.
“I’m tired.” Blue said. She leaned her head on my shoulder. I slung an arm around her shoulders. She came closer to me. We were stared at by a lot of the preps in the room. A cold draft made my skin prickle.
BLUE
I glanced up as I saw a flash of something. Suddenly, Alex groaned and put his hand on the side of his chest.
“What happened?”
Every eyes turned to us. I looked around Alex, shocked to see a dagger sticking out of the wall, dripping blood and a greenish liquid.
“Alex?” I asked, panicking. Blood dripped out from between his fingers. Jake stared at us.
“CLOSE THE FUCKING WINDOW!” I shouted. Jake shot up and closed all of the windows. I saw Levi in the middle of the parking lot, smirking and lowering a gun.
