"Yes!" Tara exclaimed stirring the sleeping baby in her arms as she cheered "finally Eve!"

I put my hand up to shush her "be quiet before my brother hears you"

As I spoke Jax strolled in from the kitchen "If you're talking about this thing with Happy, she already told me"

I turned to Tara with a scowl and she looked at Jax with a look of disapproval "he already knew Evie, I just confirmed it"

"How did you know?" I asked.

Jax laughed as he pulled on his kutte "Evie, he's put a claim on you, as far as the clubs concerned you're his old lady"

"And you're okay with that? No lecture?"

Jax shrugged "I ain't ever seen Happy put in this much effort for a woman...ever, so I figure he's gotta be legit"

I felt my face scrunch up in confusion but said nothing else as Jax kissed Tara goodbye and left. It seemed maybe Happy was more invested in this than he'd even told me and I'd made a mental note to question him about it this evening.

Once we heard Jax's bike pull away Tara turned to me looking concerned "I have something I need to tell someone Evie before I explode"

I nodded and waited as she looked uncomfortable before speaking again "I'm pregnant"

I felt my eyes widen in shock "wow, how far along are you?"

"Only about six weeks, you're the only one that knows"

I nodded and reached out for her hand "I'll help you whatever choice you make"

I walked into the clubhouse as the prospects were cleaning up what looked to be the mess of a fight and everyone else was scattered around the place. Happy sat at the bar with Opie and Piney, greeting the two Winston's with a kiss on the cheek I moved towards Happy.

He pulled me into his lap as I turned to look back around at the mess "what the hell happened in here?"

Opie laughed as he took a drag from his cigarette "Tig and Kozik had it out after Tig voted no to him patching in"

I turned to Happy noticing the new patches on his kutte "looks like your vote went the right way though" he nodded kissing my cheek.

Opie looked at us in horror "I will never get used to Happy with an old lady"

I scoffed "We watch you with Lyla asshole" opie grinned before leaning out to ruffle my hair "I really thought maybe now I'm older this may have stopped"

"It'll never stop, you're always gonna be little Evie Teller to me" he laughed and I rolled my eyes but before any more of the banter could continue the sheriffs busted in with Chief Unser and several deputies as everyone was ordered to get on the ground. Happy lifted me gently as we both laid down on the ground as they begun to raid the clubhouse.
