I watched as Kozik pushed the guy with his foot "why every time I come over do you manage to have a pile of dead bodies?"

I rolled my eyes as I pulled a tarp out of the plastic and handed it to him "it's been twice"

"Happy would cum his pants if he seen this right now" Opie pointed at me as I pulled any personal belongings I could find off of Maggie and a guy who's ID read Terrance.

I let a loud laugh out "no, I'd more than likely cop a lecture, he seems to only like being the one dealing out the death in this relationship"

"Do we take them where Hap took the last ones?" Kozik asked as he started dragging Maggie out the door into the garage "fuck she's heavy"

"Doesn't seem smart, take them somewhere different" I shrugged and Opie nodded in agreement "did you want me to come?"

"Nah stay and clean the mess up, we can handle it" Opie wrapped an arm around my shoulders "and try not to kill anyone else...we don't need you in jail as well Evelyn"

"Shut up Harry" I chuckled as he swung Terrance over his shoulder and took him out to the van "I'll see you guys later, let me know if you need anything. Bring Lux home later for me?"

They nodded as I hugged them both goodbye and shut the door behind me as I went back inside. I pulled a bottle of wine out of the fridge and switched some music on as I got to work on the cleaning up the blood off my kitchen floor for the second time in the space of six months.

The cleaning took me a good couple of hours and once I was done and showered I found myself laid on the couch watching some old Disney cartoon on tv. My eyes started to feel heavy but before I could drift off my phone buzzed in my pocket. I jumped up realising the time as I answered "Happy?"

"Afternoon baby" his deep voice sounded through the phone and my heart skipped a beat "how's your day been?"

I let out a big sigh "you don't wanna know. How's yours? How's the guys?"

"That doesn't sound overly promising. Everyone's good and fine, Tig said to tell you he misses you"

I smiled "aw Tiggy. God it sounds good to hear your voice after today"

"What made today so bad?" He asked and I could hear the worry in his voice as he spoke.

"I'm okay, do not stress. Today was just one of those days that lasted way longer than it should have"

"Uh-huh..." he didn't sound convinced but didn't press me for any other information "I gotta go now babe, my time is up. I'll speak with you tomorrow. Sweet dreams"

I melted as we said our goodbyes. He was completely different to the man I'd met not that long ago, when he thought no one else was listening he softened and it made me fall deeper and deeper in love with him every time we spoke. At this point there is nothing that could convince me otherwise that he was my soul mate.

Two Months Later

I woke suddenly to the sound of Lux growling at the foot of the bed, the door being pounded on and my phone buzzing on the bedside table. The alarm clock read '2:32am' and I felt confused about what the hell could be so important at this time of the morning. Not bothering to put pants on I slowly made my way towards the front door, swinging it open as I rubbed my eyes feeling confused when Chibs stood on the other side.

"It's time lass" he spoke with a grin and I still couldn't comprehend what exactly he was talking about. My face must of been blank because he continued on a second later "Tara's in labour..."

The sleepiness disappeared suddenly and my eyes widened "oh shit..."

"Oh shit indeed sweetheart, go get dressed and I'll give ya a lift to Saint Thomas then" he shooed me inside and I ran down the hall yanking open my dresser and pulling out a hoodie along with a pair of denim shorts and slipping on my nikes before running back out. He chuckled "god that was quick"

"There's no time for jokes!" I started to feel panicked. I'd been to all of the antenatal classes with Tara, I knew all the breathing techniques and I knew in theory how best to support her. But now it was actually happening my mind had blanked and all I could think about was how badly I wished it was Jax who was home to hold her hand to do this.

I pulled the helmet he gave me on and climbed on behind him before he sped off towards the hospital. When we arrived Gemma was standing out the front smoking a cigarette. I climbed off and passed Chibs spare helmet back to him "thanks Chibs" I pulled him in for a hug before I turned to my mother "how is she?"

My mom smirked "she's in control, like she always is"

"What are you waiting for let's frickin go?!" I pushed her towards the entrance and she laughed as she turned back to give Chibs a wave.

Six long ass hours of contractions and tears later, Thomas Teller was born and my heart felt so full watching him be placed onto Tara's chest. I felt my eyes start to fill as mom wrapped an arm around my shoulders as we watched them bonding with each other.

After an hour or so Tara got up to move around and shower and I took the opportunity to have my first cuddle with my new nephew, something I missed out on with Abel. Holding his tiny body in my arms felt so surreal, he was beautiful, with a heap of dark hair that I was sure would end up light like his fathers.

"Hi baby boy" I whispered as I put my finger against his hand, his tiny fingers wrapping around it as my heart filled with love "you're so special little Thomas"

"Isn't he?" Tara gushed from next to me as she perched gingerly on the bed wincing slightly "thanks for being with me Evie, I'm really glad you were here"

I nodded at my future sister in law "thanks for letting me be here, I love you guys"

I sat next to her as we both stared at the tiny innocent baby in my arms. I wondered about his future. Would he spend his life the same way we all did or were he and his brother destined to break the cycle of destruction and violence our family was stuck in, myself included.
