I felt the butterflies start to fill my stomach as I headed into the visiting area. I'd been coming to see Happy every fortnight for the four months he'd been inside but I still got nervous whenever I'd come. I walked next to Tara who's stomach was popping out very obviously now as she waddled along with Abel on her hip. I sat at our usual table next to where Tara was perched with Abel and waited.

The doors buzzed and the boys filtered in amongst the other inmates and my smile hurt my face as I caught Happy's dark eyes. He smiled immediately as I stood and he wrapped his arms around me pulling me close and into a kiss that took my breath away before we sat next to each other.

"You look amazing" he mumbled as he grabbed my hands "how's our girl?"

"Bigger! She's so cute Hap, I can't wait till you can see her" I ran my fingers over his as I looked up at him "though she's been a bit unsettled the last few nights like she can hear something"

His eyes darkened "Have you heard anything else from that Maggie?"

I shook my head no "nothing, I kind of just assumed she would've gone home by now. He's obviously not in Charming" I kept our conversation non-obvious that either of us had any idea of Andrews whereabouts, I wasn't stupid enough to think that if someone was investigating us they wouldn't be listening to our conversations.

"Lock the doors when you get home at night, I know how lazy you get with that" he demanded and I laughed causing his eyes to soften.

Leaning out I touched his face "I'll be fine Happy, relax"

"I'll relax when I'm home every night to double check you're fine"

The rest of the visit went without anything too exciting happening, I felt immensely sad leaving but every visit was another visit closer to him being back home and that's all that mattered to me.

"Ope?!" I called as I stuck my head into the clubhouse a week later, Lux ran in ahead of me. I found him sitting at one of the tables with Piney chatting amongst themselves "Hey"

"What can I do for you?" Opie asked as he exhaled smoke and rubbed Lux's head as she pushed it up under his arm.

"I gotta run home and grab my wallet I forgot it, can you hang out with Lux so I don't have to take her?"

He nodded "yeah but can you bring us back some lunch?"

"Copy that, stay Lux" I commanded and she sat next to Opie wagging her tail.

The drive home was quick but when I arrived I noticed a car I didn't recognise in the driveway and I felt my brows furrow in confusion. Grabbing the gun I'd been keeping in my glove box as a just incase I tucked it into the back of my jeans. I sighed deeply once more before getting out and heading towards the house. The door was shut and there was no one out the front waiting for me which made my anxiety peak a little.

Pushing the door open I stepped into the kitchen and sitting at my dining table sat Maggie and one of her male friends. I sighed in annoyance "what the fuck are you doing in my fucking house?"

She ran a hand through her hair "You know Evie, we've been looking for Andrew for two months now...and he's not anywhere. No phone. No car. No sign of him or the two guys he was with"

I shrugged crossing my arms over my chest "how unfortunate for you"

Without warning she stepped forward and grabbed me by my hair twisting until I was forced to face her and much closer to her face than I'd like to be "don't be smart Evie. You know what? Maybe I should take you for when he comes home"

I laughed "he's not coming back from where he is"

I watched her green eyes flash with confusion before they darkened and she pulled tighter on my hair "I knew you knew more than you let on, you've always been a lying slut"

I laughed again as I lent down and punched her as hard as I could in the stomach causing her to fall to the ground. The tall man she was with immediately stepped forward to try and grab me but before he could I pulled the gun out from my pants and shot him twice in the chest. Before I turned the gun to Maggie.

She scrambled back up to her feet "wow, you're gonna regret that"

"My only regret was getting involved with your family. But after I shoot you, that's it. It'll be done. I doubt your old decrepit mother is going to come looking for her two disappointments"

"You won't shoot me...you're a pu.." before she could finish I pulled the trigger and shot her in the chest, I'm not going to lie it felt fucking good to watch her body fall to the floor as she heaped over bleeding out on my floor.

Looking at the bodies on my floor and the mess of blood everywhere I sighed "wow I really need to stop letting this happen" and then I laughed. Laughed because I was finally fully free from this family of crooks.
