"i love you" she whispered with a warm  smile and loving eyes while grabbing his hand like she lose if she let go.

"pidge" He whispered surprised by the sudden confession. 

"i um will see you at group training or something .. later" She blushed and quickly let go before running of.

"I'm sorry" He frowned as he looked to where she held his arm, her warmth still lingering.

"you ran away" Lance frowned as he came to check up on pidge but notice her hazel eyes in a vent in the middle of the hall.

"maybe" Pidge mumbled.

"did you run away before or after you confessed" lance asked as he looked up to the vent.

"after" She replied.

"did he reject you" Lance asked with worry.

"i dont known i ran away in fear of being rejected" Pidge frowned and cuddle up in a small ball.

"pidgin, you shouldn't have ran away .. he might like ya back" Lance smiled gently.

"yeah but i never confessed before not on this scale of really loving someone so much it hurts .. your always being rejected so its easy for you" Pidge pouted and lance frowned.

"ouch and what if he does love you back .. you wont know if you dont go ask him" Lance grinned.

"i know but I'm scared ... i rather face zarkon again then finding out his feelings" Pidge mumbled and lance smiled at his friend in the vent.

"dont worry so much, love might be harsh but its also beautiful so fight for your love" Lance smiled brightly and pidge smiled back. 

"um lance, who are you talking too" Keith asked as he came walking down the hall not knowing pidge was in a vent.

"oh um, myself" Lance mumbled back and rubbed the back of his neck.

"ok well enjoy being crazy" Keith replied unsure.

"hey wait have you seen pidge anywhere" Lance asked with a grin.

"oh um, yeah but she kinda ran away somewhere" Keith mumbled back.

"oh how come" Lance asked with a goofy grin.

"well she confessed i think" Keith replied and rubbed his arm a little.

"confessed no way, that amazing dude what did you say" Lance cheered. 

"well she ran away before i could say anything" Keith sighed.

"well do you like her back or what" Lance asked with a grin.

"i dont know, i never loved before or had someone love me in a romantic way before .. i dont understand the feelings and well pidge is my partner .. my bonded arm who understand me better then anyone but i dont know if its love or just the strong bond we share" Keith explained and lance frowned. 

"oh well i hope you figure it out soon" Lance sighed and glanced to the vent seeing pidge crawl away.

"Pidge" keith yelled as the green lion was shot at being floating in space powered down.

"what happened" Shiro yelled over the coms.

"pidge got ganged up out of nowhere .. she not responding" Hunk replied with worry.

"keith .. stay in your lion its too dangerous" Lance yelled as he noticed keith heading out of his lion.

"she not responding .. I'm going to check on her" Keith hissed back and flew over to green jumping inside.

"pidge" Keith yelled in fear as her small body laid in her chair badly injured and unmoving. 

"pidge" Keith whispered and knee beside her trying to wake or get any sign of her still being alive. 

"please" He begged and pulled her close not caring if his armour got stained by her. 

"Katie" He whispered as tears started to fall as her lips slowly started to turn blue.

"keith take red and pull green back to the castle" Shiro ordered as they listened in over the com.

"shiro, she not" Keith cried over the com.

"the princess has a healing pod .. get her to the castle now mullet" Lance yelled. 

"we cover you so go" Hunk yelled and keith flew back to the red lion holding pidge close to him before flying back.

He wouldn't let her go as allura and coran tried to take her, he stayed holding her tightly and ran to the pod himself placing her inside. 

"please Katie" Keith begged with his tears falling as he looked to her pale face inside the pod. 

"so did mummy die" a six year old girl asked with worry. She had long silky midnight black hair and bright pretty hazel eyes with cute freckles over her cheeks.

"you idiot if mummy died then daddy wont be here" a six year old boy replied. He had short fluffy hazel hair and bright beautiful purple eyes with cute freckles over his cheeks and nose. 

"dont you mean you mum wouldn't be here" Keith asked his twin children with a smirk.

"nope becuase uncles told us how you always went head first and mummy always had to save you just like you always had to save uncle lance with her" Kyle the younger twin explained with a grin as he sat on keith left lap.

"yeah, mummy was kept busy protecting her boys" Kati the older twin grinned and the twins giggled. 

"oh did she" Keith smirked and turned to his walk who was talking with a fellow soldier in the garrison why he kept the children distract in her office.

"oh no what am i been blamed for now" Pidge asked with a cheeky grin as she walked over kissing her children cheeks. 

"apparently you had to keep saving me" Keith replied with a smile and Pidge giggled.

"yes i did, you want me to remind you of all those times i was sent in to save you" Pidge smirked and lifted her eyebrow.

"no I'm good" Keith mumbled making his wife chuckle.

"thought so, now who ready for our picnic" Pidge smiled brightly and the twins cheered before jumping of keith lap.

"i think they ready" Keith grinned and held his wife hand as they walked out of her office letting their loved children run ahead.
