His Princess Her Prince - Plance.

She stood by the door to the Balcony. She was in a beautiful light green ball gown. Her long hair down and kept out of her face by a simple blue head band. She watched as everyone danced, laughed and talked like nothing could touch them. 

She watched as some fell in love and others just had fun. 

She watched as all the prince's and princess's acted royal and stood like no one else was worthy enough to stand by them. 

She watched the ball room go one while she stayed in the same spot sipping on a posh fake wine. 

She wanted to leave and just run .. to be free

But

She promised her parents she would stay at the ball until it was time to come home.

After all her parents were planning to marry her off and they wanted to show her off. 

But princess Katie wasn't like most girls.

She was smart, sassy and wild. 

She wanted to build something or experience new things without others doing it for her saying its unsafe for a princess or its a disgrace for a princess. 

She wanted to ware her simple clothes she bought and hid under bed knowing she be punished if they ever got found.

But 

She loved simple town dress's becuase it made her feel more like her. She loved how much more easier and lighter the dress felt and she loved running in the dress acting like a servant before sneaking back home and dressing up for her family. 

"may I have this dance miss" a tall, light tan boy asked with a sweet smile. He had beautiful ocean eyes that pulled her towards him, chocolate brown hair that she wanted to ruffle for joy. 

"I'm sure there are many more ladies here who you rather be seen with" She replied with a small smile.

"well I looked all over the ball room for beauty's and my feet lead me to the most beautiful princess in the room" He smiled gently.

"then your feet must be blind, I am not beautiful or worth to be seen with someone as handsome as yourself .. you deserve someone pretty who worthily enough to stand by you" She smiled softly and his eyes sparkled.

"I would rather have someone beautiful with a heart then someone who relies on her name" He replied with a smirk.

"a pretty boy with a heart .. how rare" She grinned.

"I notice you since the moment you enter this ball .. may I have this dance" He asked with a goofy grin and she placed her small hand in his.

"you may" She smiled softly and let him lead her to the dance floor.

"you are not like most princess I seen" He spoke careful but smiled kindly.

"yes I know but what wrong with being different" She smiled.

"nothing at all .. I find it more fun to be different from others" He grinned and she giggled making him blush a little.

"yes I must agree with you on that ... your an interesting one all right" She smiled brightly.

"well since I was luckily enough to get a dance may I be lucky to know such a perfect women name" He asked with a shy smile and blushed noticing her blush a little. 

"Katie .. may I know such a pretty boy prince name" Katie asked with a cheeky smile.

"lance and may I say Katie is such a pretty name" Lance grinned.

"why thank you" She giggled making his smile grow. 

"you should laugh more and smile .. it makes you shine brighter then ever" He grinned making her blush again.

"then I hope to see you more often" She smiled making him blush.

"then I hope to always be by your side" He smiled and looked into her loving sweet eyes.

"so do I" She sweetly smiled before closing the distant placing a sweet kiss on his lips before pulling away. Both slowly opening their eyes with warm smiles.

"Katie, I will make you mine" He spoke with pride.

"I be waiting lance" She grinned and the song ended. 

"princess Katie .. your parents want you home" A guard spoke.

"I hope to see you soon prince lance" Katie smiled softly.

"as do I princess Katie" He smiled and gave a small wave while she was lead to the carriage. 

A night where their first and last kiss was ever taken place.

A night where a promise was made and neither gave up.

A night that bought joy to them both.

A night that bought them both love for the first and last time. 

A night they dream to never end
