"she is so cute" Lance grinned with shining eyes as a five year old Katie stood in the middle of the control room with the two alteans behind her and the paladins in front of her.

"she so tiny, i just want to hug her to death" Hunk smiled with his hands on his cheeks.

"matt wasn't wrong, you were adorable at a child" Shiro smiled and looked the five year old Katie over who seemed a little scared and nervous.

"how did this happen" Keith asked leaning on a wall with his arms crossed.

"i forgot to tell her not to sniff the potion i passed her when she was helping me check potions dates ... before i knew it pidge became a child and it seemed she has only got memory of her five year old self" Coran explained.

"i would normally be angry over something like this but just look how small a human child is .. this is just cute" Allura smiled brightly and Katie held her wrist tightly trying to not show how scared she was. 

"w-where matt" Katie stutter as she asked in a high pitch childish voice.

"aww, my heart cant take much more" Hunk smiled brightly.

"matt is at a school trip right now, he asked us to babysit you" Shiro lied with a kind smile.

"ut he omised to play ith me" Katie said with tears.

"oh we play with you until matt comes home" Lance smiled gently and waved his panic hands around.

"really" Katie asked with puppy eyes.

"sure thing" allura smiled.

"yay" Katie smiled brightly making everyone heart get hit by an arrow.

"oh i wanna adopted a human child now" Coran cried tears of joy and allura nodded.

"what that" Katie asked as she pointed above shiro robotic arm to a black owl mark with a brown outline on his shoulder.

"its my soulmate mark, everyone is born with a soulmate mark and it glows when your close to your soulmate" shiro smiled gently and knee down to let Katie have a better view.

"do we all have a soulmate mark" Katie asked with a sparkle in her eyes.

"yep, and once we meet our soulmate we can connect to them wherever we are .. look at my mark as i think of a memory with my soulmate" Lance smiled as he showed a tear blue drop with a white outline mark on the back of his hand and it soon started glowing.

"wow" Katie cheered making them all laugh.

"one day your even find your soulmate and be able to do the same" Hunk smiled and Katie saw his soulmate mark on his neck. It was a grey stone with a yellow outline.

"i get one" Katie asked with full of hope.

"everyone gets one" coran smiled.

"soulmates are truly a beautiful thing" Allura smiled sweetly and Katie looked around a little puzzled while the others told stories of their soulmates before her eyes caught keith who stayed silent leaning on the wall.

She ran over with her little legs, wobbling a little on the steps before stopping beside keith and pulling his boots a little. Everyone just watched the little girl and keith squatted down beside her.
