Rumors filled the galra ship as news traveled about a galra soldier with an altean lover. 

No one knew how the two came to a dating, she a prisoner until Lotor gave her to his right hand man to keep an eye on her. The right hand man was named Keith. He was one of the best fighters the galra army had but he wasn't full galra. 

He had light purple skin, purple eyes and black hair. He had sharp galra teeth but no ears. He was short and thin but held a great strength. He was seen as weak but he never back down and proved himself to his kind. He was a commander and work under Lotor. As much as the galra hated him for how he looked they couldn't help but respect him. 

He always felt out of place but the Galra was him kind and the only placed he belong or so he thought.

The day he met her, he felt something warm start to grow. Her shortness just made her even more dangerous and feisty. Her long hazel hair made her more pretty then any galra he ever seen. Her bright hazel eyes were beautiful in his eyes and her freckles he found to be cute.  He loved her sassy side and how she always fight back not caring how many hits she took. He loved her smile, god how he tried everything to keep her smiling and laughing. Her green markings he found adorable since they sparkled when she smiled.

Her name was Katie and she was an altean but to him she we perfect.  

He didn't understand it was love not until she confessed to him first. 

They shared a sweet loving kiss and his world brighten. 

He truly was in love with this girl but he knew their kinds couldn't accept such a love. 

But he was going to keep loving her and protecting her until his last breath. She was just that important to him and he wanted to call her mine for a little longer. 

There was something he loved more then her smile and that was at night. He loved snuggling up to her and having her sleep cuddle to his chest while his arms held her tightly. He loved the nights they slept together in the bed, just holding each other without a care in the world. 

It was a promise that they be together no matter what, that their hearts was only for the other and no one else. 

But then he heard the news, the news of a soldier on patrol. Fear filled his body as he listened to the guard. 

Zarkon wanted the girl he loved ...

Zarkon wanted to hurt his lover ...

Zarkon wanted to use his lover magic for evil ...

Zarkon was going to break his lover ...

Zarkon was now his enemy ... 

He had to help Katie get out before she taken and used by the Galra until she no longer useful and is killed for fun. He had to protect her even if it means betraying the place he called home. 

But he knew he didn't belong with the Galra

He truly belong with her

That night he pack his small back with the little things he owned and held her hand as they ran to his ship. He made sure to keep away from cameras and guards. He couldn't risk them being seen or he might lose her forever.
