"shit" the prince hissed as he jumped of a cliff after being surrounded by his kingdom enemy soldiers. They attacked at night while most was asleep and he knew the king along with the queen was dead. He was the only bloodline left and he needed to live, he couldn't let his rival prince take the throne and bring only pain to his people. 

In the woods at the bottom of the cliff stood a Dwarf looking for love. She was the best fighter of her kind and one of the smartest but she was an outsider. She begged god why couldn't a hot guy just fall into her arms and that when it happened. 

"that wasn't what i meant" a small draw whispered as he held keith princess style. 

Keith turned to the dwarf who was clearly shorter them him and yet he was holding him up and even caught him as he fell. 

"thanks for the save" Keith whispered and the Dwarf looked at him surprised before nodding and placing the prince down. 

"no need to thank me sir" She replied and keith looked at her strangely.

"are you a girl or a guy" the prince asked unsure now he heard the Dwarf voice.

"I'm gonna kick ya ass if you act so rudely" She replied.

"sorry" Keith sighed.

"you might want to get moving, the woods is unsafe for an outsider" the dwarf warned.

"thanks for your worry but i dont know these woods" Keith replied.

"your dressed up real good ... let me guess your parents wanted you to marry this super hot princess but your already in love so you ran away and now you ended up falling into my arms" The dwarf asked.

"if only it was that simple, my kingdom was attacked and well i had to jump of the cliff" Keith grinned.

"and people wonder why i never dream of being a princess" The dwarf smirked earning keith to chuckle.

"you truly are strange" Keith smiled. 

"I'm often told that but more importantly how can i help you" the dwarf asked.

"help" Keith asked.

"well your going to need help to win your throne back and I'm on my own journey ... by helping you i might find what I'm looking for" The dwarf replied.

"and what are you looking for" Keith asked with a kind smile.

"love" the dwarf answer with a sweet smile shocking the prince.

"i see, well i hope you find it" Keith smiled and the dwarf nodded.

"call me pidge" the dwarf smiled brightly and held her hand out.

"keith" Keith smiled and shook her hand.

"well keith, follow my lead and i make sure you get home" Pidge smirked and placed a hand on her hip. 

"then i will place my life in your hands pidge" Keith grinned and the two started walking. 

"makes me your hero then" Pidge giggled and Keith smiled at her. 

As the days passed he got to learn more about pidge and what type of person she was. It was clear that she wasn't like any other girl and she didnt follow the flow like most would. He couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was as the moon lights shines on her during the night or how her giggle made him feel warm.
