"your trusting lance with a life" Keith asked with fear as the Paladins and Two Alteans stood in the control room.

"we dont have a choice" Allura frowned as they turned to lance who had a small sleeping green cat on his head that once was known as pidge or Katie Holt.

"how did pidge even become a cat, wait is it catchy will we all turn into cats slowly and lose ourselves forever" Hunk panicked with worry while everyone just gave him that look. 

"no one else will be turning into cats, Coran you can turn Katie back to normal right" Shiro said with a worried smile as he turned to the gorgeous man.

"no well i dont know, i dont even know how this happened and i never delt with humans turning into cats before" Coran said with a worry and everyone began to worry a little more.

"meow" Pidge spoke in cat as she cutely yawned and stretched on top of lance head before turning to the others in the room. Her tail swaying side to side and her Hazel cat eyes shined.

"enjoy your cat nap" Lance smirked earning pidge to paw slap his head.

"lance, how did pidge turn into a cat" Allura asked with a small smile since lance was the one to come running in with the new cat pidge.

"well we found this cool looking flower that reminded me of earth and pidge bought it back trying to see if she could make it live a little longer on the ship, so i wouldn't be as homesick but i knocked something over and it mixed with this other thing then bam she a kitty" Lance explained with his hands flying all over and pidge laying on his head to stop herself from falling.

"so you messed up" Keith frowned and rolled his eyes.

"meow" Pidge spoke again as she sat up, her tail whacking lance head in a slowly steady beat. 

"sorry pidge, we dont know what your saying" Hunk said with a small smile and Pidge tail stopped moving.

"meow" Pidge spoke again but just earned clueless looks again.

"why dont we scan you in the pod and see what made you change" Coran smiled and pidge just nodded but didnt try jumping of lance.

"come on pidge" Shiro siad with a small smile as he noticed pidge didnt move of lance.

"meow" Pidge spoke jumping on Lance shoulder and nuzzling the side of his face.

"too cute" Lance smiled and started walking towards the pods with coran. 

After the scan was done, lance was given orders to stick with pidge since she wouldn't leave his side. At first lance wasn't thrilled just like the others but after pidge fell asleep snuggled on his shoulder he was won over to the idea. 

"pidgin" Lance called as he looked around his room for the small odd cat who was his friend.

"meow" Pidge spoke as she sat on top of the TV.
