In the world i live in we have soulmates.

Everyone is born with a soulmate written on their left wrist. 

Either if the soulmate born yet or not they name be written on the other soulmate wrist. 

The name can be in any colour but mostly in your soulmate favourite colour or eye colour, you find out when you first meet them.

You know when you first meet your soulmate becuase the name will glow and it glow each time your soulmate is around.

When i was a little girl i use to love the idea of having a soulmate and loving someone that could ever love me but i grew up. 

Life was cruel and it showed me not all soulmates are happy and some become happy with someone who not a soulmate. 

I seen the bad side of this world and i seen the good.

It makes me remember something my mother once told me as a kid.

My name is Katie Holt but you might know me as Pidge Gunderson the green lion paladin of voltron.

"pidge" Lance yelled with a huge grin and an skip in his step as he ran into the lounge. 

"yes lance" Pidge sighed as she looked up from the Altean book she 'borrowed' from coran who hasn't noticed it was missing from his work area ... yet.

"i think i found her ... my wrist lit up" Lance said excited.

"lance I'm very sure whatever alien girl you were with isn't your soulmate" Pidge frowned as she looked her friend in the eye.

"but it shined ... I'm sure it did" Lance frowned and went to lift up his sleeve.

"whoa hold on dude, dont go showing your soulmate name around like that" Hunk yelled with worry. No one showed their soulmate name so openly since it was special, those who found their soulmates would show their wrist with no fear since they found each other but those still looking hid them. It was to stop others from seeing and ruining any chances at meeting one soulmate. 

"oh right sorry" Lance sorryly smiled and rubbed the back of his neck.

"ok i bite, did your soulmate name lit up or something while talking to this alien girl" Keith asked as he looked up from cleaning his blade.

"i think it did" Lance replied turning to keith but staying stood in front of pidge who laid her book over the edge of her sleeve. 

"sure it wasn't the three suns shining on you" Pidge asked.
