"it be fun she said, nothing bad with happen she said, lets bond she said, well fuck you allura" Pidge hissed as she sat inside a cave, shiro injured and passed out next to her. A small fire built in the middle of the cave as the snow storm showed no signs of showing mercy anytime soon. 

It was just meant to be a simple bonding game, enter a small ship and land on the planet. Spend a day together and find something on the list. What ever teams finds something on the list first wins. Pidge and Shiro was one team while keith, Lance and hunk was another team. Both teams got a small travel ship and was given different half's of the planet to land on. But no one knew the half shiro and pidge was sent too had deadly snow storms that come from no where. They were flying when it suddenly started and sent the ship crashing, Shiro used his body to shield pidge as they crashed and was now passed out. She took the emergency bag before wrapping her Bayard rope around shiro and placed him in the ship door like a sledge before dragging him to the cave. She made a small fire inside the cave that they were now trapped inside.

If they were stupid enough to step outside then the snow storm would slice them up in a second. She watched what it did with a lid that rolled away outside. She didnt really fancy dying in such a way. She patched shiro up the best she could but was still worried about him not waking up. He had a deep slash over his chest and been out cold for a couple hours.

"no dying or you be lower then lance" Pidge huffed as she placed a blanket over the team leader. 

"that would be bad" Shiro grumbled earning a yelp and a punch from pidge since she didnt expect him to wake up.

"shiro .. your not dead" Pidge cheered as Shiro groaned in pain from being punched.

"after that hit I'm not so sure" Shiro joked and slowly sat up wincing at the pain from his chest.

"try not to move around so much, oh and dont leave the cave" Pidge said with worry and shiro turned to the entrance of the cave seeing nothing but white.

"how long have we been down" Shiro asked with worry as the crash landing came flashing back.

"around four hours and this storm stopping all signals meaning we trapped until it calms down" Pidge sighed and sat next to him, huddle in her own little blanket watching the fire.

"coms wouldn't work anyway, Allura closed them all to stop us from using outside help and band any technology that wasn't in the ship" Shiro frowned, now understanding why that wasn't a good idea.

"well when do i ever listen to Allura rules" Pidge chuckled opening her Halo.

"how did that not show up on Allura scan, she checked you twice" Shiro asked shocked.

"I'm a smartass, you think i dont know how to trick a princess that never had to hide her candy from her brother or certain tools from her parents when grounded" Pidge grinned and shiro chuckled.

"impressive" Shiro grinned and ruffle pidge hair.

"i know" Pidge smirked making shiro chuckle.

"so can we send a signal out" Shiro asked.

"maybe but it wont be strong and knowing allura gonna keep banding signals until the end of the day .. i dont have much hope she read the SOS signal" Pidge frowned but kept typing on her Halo.

"try it, we might be lucky and maybe keith might notice the signal from the other ship his team used" Shiro smiled and pidge nodded.

"annnnnd sent" Pidge smiled and turned back to watching the fire.

"now we just wait" Shiro sighed and pulled his blanket over him better.

"its kinda like camping" pidge smiled watching the fire dance a little.

"camping" shiro spoke a little surprise.

"yeah, camping i always wanted to try camping but our family not the survival type of family" pidge grinned and shiro chuckled at the thoughts of the Holt's camping in the middle of no where. 

"well i guess this counts as camping but what if i take you real camping after the war" shiro smiled kindly, glancing at the girl who eyes now sparkled.

"really" pidge asked with excitement. 

"yeah, i liked camping as a kid and it would be nice going again but keith didnt seem to like the idea" Shiro smiled and lent his head on the cave wall.

"lets go, we be camping buddies" Pidge smiled leaning her head on shiro arm.

"did you get any rest" Shiro asked with worry.

"nah, I'll rest when I'm dead" Pidge joked.

"Katie" shiro spoke in a dad tone making her frown.

"fine, i get some rest but if you feel worse or start dying on me then wake me" Pidge ordered and Shiro nodded before the girl closed her eyes, her head still leaning on shiro arm. 

Time went past slowly but nicely for shiro while pidge slept. He listened to her soft snores and smiled as she snuggle up to him. His human arm was wrapped around her and he couldn't help but feel warm.

He no longer felt pain just joy as he sat cuddled with pidge. All his worries and fears were just gone .. he was just calm and relaxed. He whished for this moment to never end but he knew he couldn't stay in the cave forever, they both have jobs to do as paladins. 

"But maybe being a Paladin could wait a couple more hours" Shiro whisper with a sweet smile and slowly closed his eyes, cuddling pidge a little tighter before letting sleep take over.

Later that evening.

"achoo" Pidge sneezed as she and Shiro sat in the lounge drinking alien hot cholate, shiro only just getting out of the pod and dragged the girl to warm up. 

"wanna lie down" Shiro asked with worry.

"nah, i be fine once i drink this warm godly drink" Pidge smiled and cuddled closer to shiro.

"just dont drink too fast, you have a cat tongue" Shiro smiled gently and pidge gave a small nod.

"hey shiro" pidge mumbled.

"yeah" shiro smiled.

"i hate camping" pidge moaned as she shiver again making shiro snuggle closer trying to warm her.

"lets be hot cholate buddies instead of camping buddies" Shiro grinned.

"deal but" Pidge grinned.

"but" shiro asked turning his head to the girl but freezing as she placed her lips on his with a gentle, warm, loving kiss.

"lets be lovers not buddies" Pidge smirked and snuggled back into Shiro chest.
