WHITMORE, VIRGINIA
How Elena and Bonnie had gotten him to agree to help set up for this Occult exhibit, Jeremy would never understand.
What made it worse though was the fact that it was just him and Matt that had shown up! Not even the two girls who had begged for their help had bothered to make an appearance so far. However, luckily for the girls, Jeremy had found his focus drifting to someone else.
The tattoo that had appeared on his hand, the day that Buffy had killed Connor.
The second Buffy killed Connor, a similar tattoo appeared on his own hand. That potential hunter comment Connor had made finally kicked into gear.
Clearly, it took one hunter dying for the next to be called.
He really needed to talk to Buffy.
Jeremy had been planning on telling her the second it appeared, but Buffy had gone radio silent. And truthfully, he didn't want to be another person adding problems to Buffy's plate. He wanted Buffy to have the moment of peace she deserved and so desperately needed.
If he had told her straightaway it would have just confirmed that every time Buffy tried to have a moment of peace everything went straight to hell.
Which it did.
Spotting Matt walking over, Jeremy sighed, wanting nothing more than to reassure himself that he hadn't lost his mind. If Matt could see the tattoo then he was losing it and had probably gotten black-out drunk before getting inked, but if he couldnt, it meant he had been activated as a Hunter."Hey, do you see anything on my hand?" He asked curiously.
Matt paused and turned to face the potential hunter looking at his hand carefully before shaking his head.
What was going on?
His hand was fine.
There was nothing there...nothing that he could see at least.Jeremy clenched his jaw "What if I told you I saw the beginning of a mark like Connor's?"
"Are you serious?"
Jeremy just nodded, dread starting to form in his stomach "It showed up after he died. He told me and Buffy that I was a potential; that that's why I could see his mark."Matt couldn't help but scoff "So what does that make you the next chosen one, does being chosen run in Summers DNA or something?"
MYSTIC FALLS, VIRGINIA
"You lost her!" Bonnie exclaimed in panic as she stared at Elena, Damon, and Stefan in complete disbelief, this couldn't be happening.
What the hell was wrong with them all?!
"Well, lost...is a very strong word." Damon mumbled trying to calm the witch.
She was angry, like really angry, they were all upset but it was like she knew something they didn't.
Bonnie looked ready to kill all three of them, including Elena, so it was safe to say she was pissed.
"We just technically don't know where she is."
A lamp exploded causing all three of them to quickly jump back in fear, purposely getting some distance from Bonnie.
Elena flinched as glass hit the floor, it was safe to say Bonnie was near her breaking point. But then again, when it came to Buffy, Bonnie always went into over-protective mode, Buffy was the same when it came to her.
Bonnie and Buffy were fiercely protective of each other.
Choosing to focus on Buffy and the danger she was possibly in, Elena ran a shaky hand through her hair, letting worry consume her.
This Hunter's Curse sounded like really bad news.
"What else did Klaus say about this curse?"
